Old world charm in the center of Sydney

Best hotel in Sydney. Great value
Best hotel in Sydney. Great value for money albeit our room price was heavily discounted via last minute booking with HotelClub. Rooms nice and spacious very comfortable. Will definitely stay there again. Loved the Decor being oldy worldy. In the heart of Sydney but away from the hustle & bustle. Staff extremely helpful and very friendly. Easy to get around. Cannot fault the Stamford in any way! Fantastic.

Both my Daughter and I enjoyed
Both my Daughter and I enjoyed our weekend stay - My daughter aged 19 years and not having stayed in an older type hotel before was taken by its elegance , beauty and features. The Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Location was wonderful just a short walk to rocks, Opera House , main shopping centre - such a great weekend we had and not expensive . Looking forward to returning in the near future.

We had a wonderful stay and a fantastic room with great views. We found the hotel staff were generally very efficient and courteous although at times the reception staff seemed a bit aloof. We drank 3 times in the bar and found the bar attendants to be exceptionally slow and we had a meal in house one night and one of the meals was inedible, the meat was very tough and the steak of the other meal was cooked perfectly in parts and raw in others, we would not dine there again. We would stay again just for the location, view & room.

Excellant in every way. Handy
Excellant in every way. Handy to Circular Quay and the Rocks area. We had 2 double bedded room which was very well appointed. Only complaint is the pricing of Internet $25 per day. Would and will be staying there again before we return to UK

A great location - I got the train
A great location - I got the train from the Airport to Circular Quay and just a 2m,in walk. My room had a partial view out across Circular Quay and was very quiet. Good room size and very comfortable beds. Got a great deal throught Hote Club so very happy with the price. Rather old fashioned in design and probably wouldn't hang out there all teh time
