Opulence meets comfort at this Hyde Park gem
Sheraton on the Park is a stately grand dame on the edge of Hyde Park showcasing luxurious rooms and sophisticated interiors for discriminating travelers. Excellent and friendly service
Excellent and friendly service from all staff from the moment we arrived from the moment we left. We used the amenities available also in house dining and both were excellent. Would higly recommend Sheraton On The Park Hotel to anyone. Would like to take this opportunity to thank all staff for a memorable stay hope to see them all again in the near future.

The King room with park views
The King room with park views was delightful. The hotel is perfectly located for shopping. It was great to be able to have our car there and pick it up well after checkout time. The only "downer" was the whiskey sour at the bar, which wasn't made correctly.

Amazing
Perfect hotel to visit Sydney, good location, amazing staff, a lot of facilities, free internet in lobby. And amazing pool in top floor with good views of tower. Noisy rooms because of the fire trucks crossing city all day long, but it worths.

Excellent service. The bathroom
Excellent service. The bathroom was well apointed and very clean. The bed was to hard, which is the only downfall of this accomodation. The breakfast was of a good standard. The parking was easy to access and well lit.

I have been staying in Sydney
I have been staying in Sydney in hotels for a month until my appt is available and have tried the Westin and the Shangri La before the Sheraton. In my opinion the Westin is far superior not only in terms of room size but also in terms of service. In comparison with the Shangei La the room are more modern in the Sheraton (although v small) but the service again is severley lacking. As I booked through a third party the Sheraton would not give me a tax receipt for my hotel room costs. This would be OK but the third party they used did not provide a ABN number either, however, the Manager did not seem to care) which obviously means I can't claim the costs back from my company. Any items like the gym you have to pay extra which is similar to how a budget airline operates not a 5 star hotel. To be honest its for tourists, it trades on its name and my advice would be pay a little extra for the Westin where all your facilities are included and the staff are helpful.
