Beware of the pool

Would recommend Fri, Jan 16, 2015
Booked this due to the location and the amenities for a short stay near Darling Harbour. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped - kitchenette a bonus. In some places the decor is in need of some maintenance but this wasn't major and definitely can't complain for the price I paid. However, be warned, the hotel shares itps pool with serviced apartments in the next-door building. You have to ask reception for a key to the pool, and they don't have enough for everyone. It took several hours to get hold of a key, so you could find yourself never getting access to the pool if only staying for a short time. Once in the pool area, there are approx 6 sunbeds so prepare to sit on concrete when not swimming! However, all things considered, I'd stay again.

Very Good Experience

Would recommend Sat, Nov 29, 2014
We travelled from USA and arrived Sydney very early, 6:00 in the morning. Since this is my 1st time in Australia, I did not know what to do other than just went straight to hotel, checked it in but not allowed to go the room. Staff was very helpful, showed us where to go and let us got into room before 1pm (normally 3pm). Hotel is located just across the street from Chinatown, not far from Circular Quay Opera house, very close to Darling Harbour, close to all kinds of restaurants, Korean, Vietnamese, Chinese and of course so convenient. We think we pick the right hotel & will stop by again if we chance to come back to Sydney again.

Attractions

City tour, hop on hop off, blue mountain are available to get it every where.

Surprising lacking

Would not recommend Sun, May 18, 2014
When I opened the door to my room, I was pleasantly surprised by its spaciousness. To the left was a mini kitchen with utensils, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a dining room table. I next stepped into a small room containing a couch, dresser and flat-screen TV. There was a door to the right that led to a balcony with chair and no real view — only a translucent roof over a restaurant and a building blocking all chance at scenery. The bedroom completed the offering, with a less-than-comfortable bed and wiring that obviously went to a second TV that was no longer there. However, the two things I was most disappointed with was no free WiFi offered anywhere in the building and no breakfast offered.
