Rydges World Square Hotel Sydney invites business and leisure travelers to tastefully appointed rooms and suites, modern facilities, and favorable location in the central business district. We were delighted with the room,
We were delighted with the room, room service and proximity to all services and the CBD. We liked the idea of being able to fill an ice bucket for an evening refreshment. On a disappointing note, probably unsure if the hotel is at fault, we did receive a phone call at 3.36am just saying 'Hello' and would not speak when I asked him what he wanted. From that time on, we felt quite uncomfortable and nervous that someone was going to come into our room. It would be wonderful to have a responce/or followup to investigate if in fact it was a wrong call. Again Rydges World Square Hotel was perfect for our needs and would not hesitate to recommend and will use again. However the phone will be disconnected.

Excellent Hotel
A friend and I were travelling through Sydney for the night and chose the Rydges World Square because of its' proximity to a train station, not really knowing what to expect. We were overwhelmed; the hotel is beautiful and spacious, the rooms are large and provide everything you could possibly need, and the staff is polite and courteous.

staff need to be more accommodating
staff need to be more accommodating and helpful at all times. Some accents were hard to understand. Car Park is very pricey and should be included in the hotel room price. Very hard to find the hotel in the first place. Valet parking not clearly marked. No room service! Breakfast was good.

Nice hotel in a great location
Nice hotel in a great location for people wanting to walk around the city. Also close to the monorail, for those who get sore feet. The staff were very attentive. The only issue for me was that my room did not have a bath, as was advertised on Hotel Club.

Rooms nice but overpriced. Buffet breakfast very disappoiniting. Definetely wouldn't bother staying here again, unless there was a good deal with the tariff. Very nice ambience at The Square Bar, and a perfect place to relax after a busy day, or to enjoy a night cap. Lovely decor, wonderful cocktails, great selection of beers and tasty bar food..... very enjoyable and relaxing.

Our attempt at breakfast was most
Our attempt at breakfast was most unsatisfactory so we decided to eat elswhere. My wife`s attempt to order `just tea and toast` meant that we were to be `banished` from the restaurant and directed to a side table outside the restaurant like a leper. This was our only negative

We found the Hotel clean & tidy
We found the Hotel clean & tidy and in the perfect location with public transport just a short walk away. Would definitely recommend staying here if you don't have a car. Staff were very helpful and buffet breakfast awesome.
