Rydges World Square Hotel Sydney invites business and leisure travelers to tastefully appointed rooms and suites, modern facilities, and favorable location in the central business district. - Well appointed rooms featuring a King bed in the main room with a flat screen TV, and twin King-Single beds in the connecting room with a second flat screen TV. We noticed on arrival to our room
We noticed on arrival to our room that it had not been vaccumed as nut shells and paper were under the sindo next to the bed there was also a half bottle of wine someone had left in the fridge - and I didnt think that the sheets were changed but the staff couldnt have been nicer or more helpful.

Rydges World Square Sydney provide
Rydges World Square Sydney provide large,clean rooms that are easily accessable. the bonus bieng the two queen beds provided where other hotels provide singles or queen single beds. the hotel is conviently located to most attractions ie walking distance and for those that cannot, the monorail is on the same corner.

The grouting of the shower bathroom
The grouting of the shower bathroom tiles were very badly stained with black mould. The shower rose was broken. The clothes cord over the bath was broken.

Centrally located which is vital
Centrally located which is vital for a short stay. My double room was a decent size and comfortable. Bathroom facilities (and facilities generally) were a little jaded but quite acceptable. I would be happy to stay at the Rydges again.

The hotel does not accept Visa
The hotel does not accept Visa Debit Card apparently, they charged me $100 upon checking in. Never happened to me before as other hotels accept an imprint of my credit card. Also, they gave me a smoking room (Deluxe King on 13th floor) eventhough I requested non smoking room when booking it on [this website]. Maybe I just got an annoying receptionist.

Our attempt at breakfast was most
Our attempt at breakfast was most unsatisfactory so we decided to eat elswhere. My wife`s attempt to order `just tea and toast` meant that we were to be `banished` from the restaurant and directed to a side table outside the restaurant like a leper. This was our only negative
