Nice modern hotel. Great location
Nice modern hotel. Great location to the Central train station. Very quiet, especially since the hotel is located on a very busy street. There is very limited seating at the rooftop pool, but what is there is quite lovely.

Lovely hotel, beautiful new decor,
Lovely hotel, beautiful new decor, very modern & clean. The staff were all friendly & upbeat. The included breakfast was great - standard hotel breakfast buffet. Rooftop pool with a nice area to relax. The beds were comfortable, the room very clean & new. Very central location particularly if you are using public transport, close enough to walk to Chinatown & the city shopping area. My only recommendation would be to ask for a room on a high floor so you can avoid the traffic noise as much as possible. I was on the 9th floor & I could hear background traffic noise but really only when I made a conscious effort to see if it was a problem. There is double windows but you hear the odd bit of traffic, I didnt think it was a problem though & it didnt affect sleep. Really lovely property, very central, seemed quite safe & the hotel foyer is secure after 11pm (you have to swipe your room card to get in the front door although the night receptionist is there to let you in if necessary).

We found this hotel located on the edge of China Town with nearby Paddys Markets and Darling Harbour in walking distance. The rooms were really quite big & the bathroom was huge.We would stay here again

We loved the Marque Hotel in Sydney.
We loved the Marque Hotel in Sydney. Great location, but more importantly, the staff were extremely friendly and appeared to be committed to delivering excellent customer service. You don't always find that in an inner city hotel. The room was spacious, with modern furniture and decor, even an iPod dock/ stereo. King size bed and great linen. Nothing to complain about. Would definately stay there again if in Sydney. Y

We stayed at The Marque during
We stayed at The Marque during a very busy weekend in Sydney. The staff were first rate, especially Hayden on the front desk. The rooms were classy and comfortable and the roof top pool was great to chill out by. Terrific breakfasts in the morning at their restaurant and the location was very good for exploring the city. We will definately stay there again.

Michael, the hotel clerk was extremely helpful and accomodating when we requested a room change (b/c of hallway noise). Overall, great stay and convenient if you want to be near the train station.
