Affordable contemporary rooms in downtown Sydney
Travelers hunting for reasonably-priced rooms with style and flair land at the Park Regis. Located minutes from Darling Harbour, Royal Botanical Garden, the Sydney Aquarium and a couple blocks from Central Station assures that leisure and corporate travelers arrive at nearly every major attraction (and the airport) with ease. The rooftop swimming pool offers expansive views of downtown Sydney, making it a great place to lounge after a long day of work or sightseeing.

Excellent location for the majority
Excellent location for the majority of Sydney's main central attractions. All forms of transport close at hand. Rooms while on the small side are clean,secure and adequate for a traveller.

The location is the best you can
The location is the best you can get. The room was reasonably clean. the bed was comfortable. The ensuite was cramped and the shower was weak. Overall I recommend this for business travellers looking for a short stay at good location at reasonable price.

The location of the hotel is very
The location of the hotel is very convenient for us to get around for food, shopping and travel. The service from the staff, Christine is excellent. She recommended us the day tour to Blue Mountian, etc and also showed us how to get about with City Link and to the airport too. We like the million dollar view from the 45th floor esp. with the open-air swimming pool right on top of the world. However, it would be good to have a more a spacious room esp for tripple sharing. Thank you very much!

Great location but spoiled by
Great location but spoiled by miniscule rooms (at the front/side of the property). Avoid rooms looking towards the front of the building and towards Kings Cross-very noisy. I requested a move to a room at the back (Town Hall side) which was readily granted. Pleasant front of house staff-which they should be! Having stayed before I would certainly stay again with the "room at the back please" proviso.

Park Regis Hyde Park
Hotel is right in the middle of everything...easy access to sites you care about including tourist stuff, church, transportation, parks. Sydney is a bit spendy but there are many options within easy access including a Woolworths grocery and convenience stores. Many of the bars, pubs and restaurants have specials. Don't be afraid to haggle a bit at some of the higher end gift places...especially for Ugg boots. We went there during the Aussie winter and it was very pleasant...jeans and a sweatshirt. Noisy in the streets at all hours so bring ear plugs for sleeping.

Central City Sydney Hotel
Park Regis was great: competent and helpful staff, great location, clean rooms, nice views of the city, and easy walking distance to many key sights. Rooms are small but very functional. Highly recommended.

Good experience, great location
My wife and I stayed 3 nights and the overall experience was very good. The location was superb, while the room was clean and compact. There wasn't much extra room after one accounted for the king bed (which was very comfortable). However, since we were basically only in the room to sleep, it suited our needs perfectly. The desk staff was always friendly and helpful, including recommending a wonderful Thai restaurant.
