This was the perfect hotel!
I have stayed many places all over the world and this hotel was by far the best. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Having a coffee bar in the lobby was a very nice touch. I will stay at the Park 8 any time I am in Sydney.

great location, very friendly staff
Basic and small roon in a boutique style hotel. Basic cleanliness-acceptable but bathrrom not of high standard. Front desk staff extremely friendly and hotal location is perfect. Price/value reasonable for a central location

great location, too bad about the room
the hotel is in the center of Sydney, very close to Hyde Park and quite convenient. It's quite easy to walk past it without noticing that a hotel exists there, the sole clue is a small overhead sign and a small doorway into a narrow lobby that has lost most of its space to an adjacent shop. The front desk was helpful and attentive, but couldn't make up for the fact that when the hotel was recently remodeled a decision was made to remodel on the cheap. My room overlooked a busy street where traffic rumbled by, unfortunately what noise insulation existed was defeated by cheap windows which didn't close properly. Traffic noises hung around till late at night and then began again in the early morning with the garbage trucks.

Location is the key
The hotel is so centrally located. The room was small..... BUT the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large, clean and a super shower. The people at the front desk were very helpful and pleasant. My price made it a great deal!
