Oaks Goldsbrough Apartments Sydney overlook the pretty Darling Harbour in the heart of Sydney. The building that houses Oaks Goldsbrough Apartments was constructed in 1883 and has successfully retained a portion of its history that can be seen in its décor and personality. Very poor cleaning and maintenance
Stayed at this Apartment hotel for 10 yrs, at least 2 months a year. Poor Management, contracted out cleaning, has left it drab, poor inside states of the apartments, no less than filthy in some places (inside units, under kitchen areas, air con thick with grease and dust, and months of missed cleaning areas). The Cockroaches are very happy here. Management by Oaks Group, has declined. I Don't recommend this apartment / hotel anymore...you dare not look under, or into anything too deeply in the apnts. Even Hostels have better standards of cleaning compared. Better, decent standards elsewhere in Sydney- avoid!

Declined in standards...
Stayed over 10 years for at least 2 months a year, but cleaning standards, and quality /repair of furnishings in apartments poor. Jaded, tired place, noisy inside the main atrium where all bedrooms side to. Certainly not worth the cost, plenty of other places higher standards for less. No higher than 2* and avoid unless you are desperate|!

Very unclean standards dropped dramatica
The standards have dropped to an all time low here. Stayed over 10 years, yet hygiene and cleaning is awful, kitchens and carpets filthy in some apnts. The new Manager is all spin and no substance, such a change from the high standards before he arrived. Money not standards, contracted out minimum wage, over pushed cleaners, with communal areas as well as kitchens and bedrooms filthy if you look behind anything. NOT recommend this place it is truly filthy, and has dipped to stay at this level for the last 2 years. Many more apartments, choose anywhere BUT this if you have any standards of hygiene or cleanliness.
