Oaks Goldsbrough Apartments Sydney

The one bedroom apartment was spacious and fully equipped with all kitchen appliances and cutlery,crockery etc.There was dishwasher,microwave,oven and stove. In the bathroom was a dryer and washing machine. My apartment was close to a freeway so it was a bit noisy at night. I also took advantage of the pool,spa and dry sauna there was also a quite large gym. My impressions were spoiled when they tried to charge me for a movie/internet $11.00,which I had not used and this caused quite a scene!

The location of the building was good .We were surprised by the spaciousness of the apartment and it was serviced every day.The staff were always friendly and helpful.

Started holiday with a bit of a cloud after reading various reviews. Pleasantly suprised with ease of check-in. Room was a bit "tired" but clean. We did ask for a room away from the noise, and ended up on the 10th floor at the back. Quiet, with outlook over an extensive roof garden. We stayed Monday night through to Friday morning, and the room was serviced daily. The Front Desk was helpful in explaining parking arrangements and location of the connecting walkway was obvious after parking the car. Tip: try to park on the 4th level, as this is where the walkway is.

We stayed there with our son who travels to Sydney frequently and he said he will always stay there from now on it was so reasonable and had everything we needed. Friendly staff and lovely studio at the cheapest price. Highly recommend it.

The photo of the hotel was overlooking water, but this was not the case. In fact we had to walk up many stairs, an overpass tunnel and a carpark before we reached the hotel from Darling Harbour. We did not know this and took some time trying to work out how to enter the Hotel but asked several people how to access it. Other family members arrived a few days later and they experienced the same problem. Our room was beside a major road overpass and we heard traffic all night so did not sleep well until the third night when we got used to it. The kitchen did not have any blinds so the street lights shone inside and our daughter who was sleeping on the pullout sofa in the kitchen/lounge had light in the room, so found sleep difficult. The rooms were clean, comfortable and the kitchen was spacious, however compared to other hotels we've stayed in throughout Australia and in Europe, it was overpriced for what it offers and will probably not stay there at that price again.

I would not hesitate to recommend the Oaks Goldsbrough Apartments in Sydney. Its location is ideal; the apartments are spacious with full kitchen and separate bedroom. The staff were cordial, helpful and efficient. Were we to return to Sydney, we would certainly stay there again. The Oaks was a terrific value!

We stayed in a studio apartment. Bedroom and bathroom on one level & kitchen, washing machine/dryer, loungeroom on other level. Very nice except would be better with a blockout curtain over the blinds as light filters through to the bedroom. Walkway to carpark & monorail & over to Darling Harbour. Bus in next street to City or Circular Quay. Very central & I would stay here again.

Lovely rooms in a good location, yet the Room Attendants did not top up coffee and sugar, often having to go get our own, or they would forget to take rubbish, apart from that a nice place to stay.

A very interesting building to stay in, well located at the back of Darling Harbour. Everytime we stay there we experience a different apartment. My only negative comment would be the time it takes for the lifts, they can take too long. Other than that, it's all good.

Very good position close to Darling Harbour, the swimming pool was a surprise, didnt know they had one untill we arrived, the apartment had every thing you could ask for, well finished, air conditioned and close to all facilities, only problem I had was that we were not told they had an airport shuffle service !!
