staff were friendly and helpful. good location close to darling harbour without being on a busy street. the only complaint would be the lack of water pressure in the shower. we enjoyed our time there.

I chose this hotel after I saw
I chose this hotel after I saw the night sight seeing picture from the hotel. I didn't expected the same scenery but at least not expected watching cars above us on express way. The room was old and dirty. I could have booked a better hotel with the same price if I booked earlier. The best is the location. you can walk to Darling harbour in 5 mins.

Reception initially placed us
Reception initially placed us in a room that wasnt per our booking.(queen bed instead of a King bed) They then took another 25min to find another room for us. That room was not furnished as well as the first and there was no remote for the TV. Location was great - access to transport, Darling Harbour but that was the only area I could rate highly.

Service here is shocking. No
Service here is shocking. No staff member knows what's going on - they can't even keep track of which room you are in. If you are on the lower floors you will not be able to get a lift between 9.30 and 10.30am because they are all full from the upper floors. I got stuck in the stairwell as the doors do not open - what a fire risk! My husband got stuck in the lift for an hour on check out day. Final bill was more than double the quote due to incompetence. Everything can be sorted out but you need to bring your A game to this establishment because it is a constant battle of wits.

The Oaks Goldsborough was a pleasant
The Oaks Goldsborough was a pleasant surprise. Because our request couldn't be met we were upgraded to a penthouse apartment. We were promised a balcony but were given a suite which didn't have one. It was beautifully presented but the bathroom, especially the shower was filthy with mould and dirt all over the tiles and grouting. Although other channels were available, we couldn't change TV channels. The concierge was very helpful and minded our bags and booked a taxi evn after we hand checked out. Breakfast at the cafe downstairs was lovely.

Great location - just across the walkway on the 2nd floor and you're minutes from both the Convention & Entertainment Centres, iMax, Chinatown. Take the monorail back from the shops if you've walked too much! Very convenient. And the units are quiet! We've stayed in both a 2-bedroom and 1-bedroom and really like that I never had trouble sleeping. Comfy beds, nice spa pool (great after shopping!) and pool. We've stayed twice and would return and recommend it to friends or anyone else out there.

Oaks Goldsborough was fine for
Oaks Goldsborough was fine for a weekend stay, full kitchen in studio apartment, great for 2 people, especially the price. If your looking for a view of the city pay the extra otherwise you'll be looking at a brick wall but thats fine for us, really just a place to rest our weary heads at night.
