First we were disappointed at the location of this hotel. According to the travel locator, it was supposed to be located near The Rocks, but it was actually on the other side of Sydney Harbour. Then there was the hotel itself. The lobby was nice
enough, but the entrance was on a hill and it was very difficult getting up into the lobby with heavy luggage. It was also located directly over the city railway (subway) tracks which run continuously from early morning to late evening, distracting from the view and being very noisy. The bed was softer than a pillow and, 5 days later, my back still hurts. The carpets in the common areas were all bunched up like they hadn't been installed properly, which is NOT something I expect from a 4 star hotel. Finally, there were only 2 elevators (lifts). There was a sign saying they were installing more, but that was no help when 20 people were lined up trying to get to their rooms. If you're looking for a wonderful Sydney experience, this hotel is not it.

Great place to stay
This may be the first time I have stayed in a hotel where the room looked exactly like it was advertised on the website. The room was nice and the view and location was amazing!
However, we stayed on the 14th floor and even that high up the train
that runs directly behind the hotel was loud enough to wake us up every time it went by (about every 12 minutes). Maybe it wouldn't be as loud on the street side but on the harbor view side it was very noisy.
