Staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negative feed back that I passed on to the Hotel was that the water temperature in the bathroom was awful, otherwise a good rest stop when on your travels.

the bathroom was absolutely filthy,
the bathroom was absolutely filthy, the room in general was dusty and the stench of tobacco in the bed linen was revolting. The coffee in the packets was old and we did not have enought milk. The fire alarm went at 7 am and we did not have direcctions or information about what was going on.

Have stayed at this hotel before and did not hesitate to stay again. We found the bedding to be very uncomfortable during our stay and would be reluctant to stay here again

We stayed for 3 nights. When we arrived their was a mark onthe toilet door like a large coffee splatter! The cleaner was nice and friendly and the desk staff nice as well but the tap fell of the bath and the toilet wouldn't stop running! The top level pool was a bit worn looking and the SPA well!!! green and out of order! The location however was the BEST it was close to everything we wanted to do and that suited us because we didn't stay in our room except for sleeping at night anyway! We had a good time in Sydney saw some shows and ate at some great restaurants but it's always nice to be back home!

We booked this hotel at the last
We booked this hotel at the last minute so got a really good rate but I don't think I would pay full rate for this hotel as it was pretty average. We just wanted a bed to sleep on after going to a concert and that's exactly what we got. We were put on the 3rd floor and the room was awful, the double bed was too short for my 6ft 2in husband so his feet hungover the edge and also sunk in the middle, so I slept in the single. The bathroom was clean but the sink was cracked and in need of replacing. Wouldn't want to stay in there more than 1 night. Maybe because we booked last minute we ended up with a bad room - who knows ? As for the location, excellent.

I prefer the Metro Hotel at 300
I prefer the Metro Hotel at 300 Pitt Street which is more central and a little bit more modern. I appreciated being given a complimentary newspaper in the morning from both Metro Hotels on Pitt St.
