This hotel provides clean, pleasant basic accomodation in a lively part of the CBD -near China town.Breakfast is only OK eg no bacon and a limited choice.Public spaces are a bit shabby.Staff pleasant and efficient.No info on TV channels or programs snd no internal directory for the hotel.

The rooms are very dark. there
The rooms are very dark. there is no overhead lighting. There are only bedside lamps. I also dont like the cleaners washing the cups and saucers out in the bathroom sink before replacing. I would prefer fresh ones that have been washed in a dishwasher with hot water. Not just rinsed. The hall ways have quite a stale smoke smell.

There was no soundproofing between
There was no soundproofing between my room and the rooms on either side. I got woken when the guest in the room to my right got in late at night and woken again early the next day when the guest to my left got up early.

the bathroom was a bit old but
the bathroom was a bit old but very clean ideal spot to stay not far from central station and the markets and bus to circular quay just one street away have stayed in this hotel many times because of its convience and friendly staff.
