Facilities are rather old. They
Facilities are rather old. They don't have a staff on duty around the clock. On alternate nights, a security personnel manages the reception desk. He can't offer immediate assistance if you have problems with your room. Location wise, its good if you want somewhere near the city central and its near the pick-up point for day tours by AAT Kings, Grayline and APT. If you prefer to cook your own meals (which I doubt many will), there's a fully equiped kitchen. For the location, the price is good compared to other hotels within the vicinity.

Metro Apartments are at a perfect
Metro Apartments are at a perfect location at Darling Harbour and almost in the heart of the CBD. We were not disturbed by traffic or anything else, even on the third floor. The humming of the air-conditioning accounts partly for this. For longer stays the clothes washing facilities were much appreciated. The kitchenette is good for making breakfast and small meals. The refrigerator and cooking stove are large. However, the other kitchen equipment is somewhat lacking. There could have been more plates, cutlery, pots, glasses, etc. The carpets are shabby and need replacing. Clean towels are supplied daily, and dirty dishes in the kitchen are washed by the cleaning staff. The apartments are not luxurious, but are comfortable and very central for sightseeing in and around Sydney. They can be recommended.

Location was excellent for us,
Location was excellent for us, close to Aquarium, shopping districts and Supermarket. Reception staff was helpful, and gave us excellent advice.
