Loved this hotel and it's location
I stayed at this hotel with my sister and we felt very safe. It's within walking distance of many things and you find the best whole in the wall places! The staff was always courteous and prompt with any requests that we had. In particular an employee named [...]was beyond helpful and genuinely wanted to help us have the best experience possible.

Short walk from hotel
Joe's Cafe was a great cafe I stumbled upon. It's a very short walk from the hotel and the food was fantastic. Pricing was inexpensive in my opinion.

The room looked like the photos which is always a plus. And it had a view, as promised. It was a good size, with a comfortable bed - very pleasant indeed.

Nice modern room with a great
Nice modern room with a great view of the harbour bridge and a very comfortable bed. Late check-out and secure parking were a bonus. We could not have asked for better value for money.

LOCATED IN ONE OF THE MORE "HISTORICAL" PARTS OF THE CITY , THEY ARE AROUND THE CORNER FROM THE KINGS CROSS METRO STOP. VERY CONVENIENT. ROOM WAS GOOD SIZED ; COMFORTABLE BED. THE LIGHTING IS NOT VERY GOOD AND THERE IS NO SEATING...WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A DESK CHAIR. THERE IS GOOD CONTROL OVER THE ROOM TERMPERTURE AND GREAT SHOWER. ONE OF THE BEST TRAINED RECEPTION STAFF WE HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. IF THERE IS A DOWN SIDE, BE PREPARED FOR THE COST IS SIDNEY, THE HOTEL IS IN LINE WITH US PRICES (EVEN BETTER) HOWEVER, FOOD IS MUCH HIGHER. BREAKFAST BUFFET IS $25.OUR WE WOULD DEFFINETLEY STAY THERE AGAIN.

The hotel is actually re-opened
The hotel is actually re-opened after idle for 2 years (as I learnt from the housekeeping staff), but not newly opened (as indicated on their website last month). The rooms were refurblished, but some of the facilities do not function well, e.g. water pressure of the shower was low, lighting was not sufficient, water in the bathtub flew away very slowly and also there're noisy telephone lines. Moreover, the cleanliness was poor, e.g. the newly replaced towels were always come with extra hair, and I once find blood stains on them. Fortunately, the service was okay and the staffs were quite friendly.

it is ok
- surrounded by second tier party places - gym is outside the building in 3 min walking, and you have to pay extra 5 dollar - subway is 10 m from hotel - wifi is over expensive and slow - nothing extra to what to have to be there

Very poor location
Like most parts of Aus very expensive. Staff very pleasant - cannot complain against any of them. Breakfast at 25 dollars not good value - second rate. Very streaky rashers - the sort you would bin.
