Total dump
I arrived after 30 hours of travel, wanting a quick process to get into a comfortable bed. Because I arrived "after-hours" I had to use my mobile phone to call the on-site manager (international call + roaming fees). After 4 phone calls where she kept promising to come check me in, and 1.5 hours of waiting, she finally came down to check me in. The pictures are completely misleading, the hotel is completely and utterly disgusting. There were holes in the walls, stains all over the carpets, and the room smelled so bad they had 3 air fresheners just to cover the horrible odor. The keycard reader at the front door barely works and they've even put up a sign telling you to just keep trying it. Every night it took about 10 minutes of swiping the key before it would allow you in.

R&R hotel seeker
Noisy old place in King's Cross
The hotel was inexpensive in a nice area, but that was the only plus. I had a very hard time sleeping in this older building that seemed to reverberate sounds from both outside and inside the building! I was hearing yelling, pounding, you name it. If your looking for a less expensive place in King's Cross to "pass out" after a night on the town, then this is your hotel. Otherwise...

nice hotel
its pretty nice @ the king cross area, as its could be pretty busy at night, but some how i can hear the music.....other than that, its pretty nice.

Our room had a leak in the corner
Our room had a leak in the corner so the plaster and paint was peeling and falling on the ground. Apart from that the rooms are extremely small but contains what you need. The TV had zero reception and took up the whole table.

Shower drain was blocked and water
Shower drain was blocked and water poured out on to the carpet. We put towels down to stop it. Went down to desk and told them ( no phone in room ) receptionist came and looked at it and gave us fresh towels to put on the carpet !!!!! While mopping up the water we saw how dirty it was behind the toilet and under the wash basin. Sheets were very clean but there were stains on the doona. TV was difficult to use, the remote was broken and the batteries kept falling out.

stayed a friday and a saturday night. was very surprised by the quiet on the friday, much more noisy sat. location is amazing, right around the corner from everything get a discount on parking, which is a 3 min walk around the corner will definately be returning!
