Good value, good location
The Hyde Park Inn is not fancy, but is in a good location, right across the street from hyde park, close to atractions like the Australian museum, Barracks museum and explorer bus route. The room was clean and quiet and they provide breakfast items in the kitchen (bread for toast, cereal, instant coffee/tea, etc.) so you don't have to go out for breakfast, which can get expensive in Sydney. There are a number of cafes nearby as well. I would stay there again.

The hotel provides "make your own breakfast" in the room, there is no hotel restaurant/cafe. There are a number of cafes, restaurants and sandwich shops within a short walk from the hotel to choose from.
