Kids eat free at this comfortable hotel close to Darling Harbour

it is at the Entertainment Centre
it is at the Entertainment Centre around a corner. It can be frustrating when everything is so black and white and they cannot look outside the square. I will not be staying at the Holiday Inn in the future.

Stayed at this hotel 2 weeks earlier and it was great - nice room and bathroom and appeared clean. This time the room we were allocated was not value for money - old and tattered feeling in both room and bathroom - smaller than previous room - dust build up behind entry door.

Hotel was clean & extremely well
Hotel was clean & extremely well located for what we were doing in Sydney. The room was good, reception was quick when booking out but there were a couple of issues. 1) The queue to get in for breakfast was very long & took over 15 minutes to get a table. 2) when we went to concierge to have our parking ticket validated we were going to pay by EFTPOS which was subject to a charge so we decided to pay cash, the concierge had to take our money over to reception to get change which took much longer than necessary.

The room we stayed in was quite small and budget. Right near the window of traffic, can't agree that this is a four star hotel. Service was good and so was location but the hotel itself was a huge disappointment

During my business stay at the
During my business stay at the Holiday Inn Darling Harbour i found the hotel to be of suitable standard. My only problem was that the room was booked for a double bed and i found myself in a room with twin singles. The only thing that was somewhat disappointing

The rooms needed a bit of updating
The rooms needed a bit of updating but were still clean. The receptionist gave us the wrong price for both parking and the airport shuttle bus, but the concierge was very helpful. 11am checkout is generous, but being woken up at 10am to a 'minibar' person entering our room was not appreciated! They should not do this until after 11am checkout time. Is in a good location if you love asian food and paddys markets are just on the corner, and darling harbour is very close. However if you want a good night's sleep when an event is scheduled at the Entertainment Centre - good luck.
