The Hilton is located right downtown Sydney - close to the train and all the tourist attractions. The service is great, the room was impeccably clean, the view of the city was fabulous. The fitness facility is great, and I was impressed with the
pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Customer service was great. The only complaint was that the restaurant and bar options in the hotel are overpriced.
We stayed at the Hilton for our first two nights in Australia. The hotel is very nice, and conveniently located downtown. We didn't have to take a taxi anywhere. We got a good deal with the breakfast buffet being included with our room (it's
normally $25 AUD pp). The rooms have shades that totally block out the sunlight, which is perfect when you're trying to recover from jet lag.
My only complaint was upon our arrival. We requested an early check-in, and had to wait about four hours for the room to be made available. It was a bit frustrating, but overall we were very satisfied with our stay.

There is a lot to see and do on George Street including shopping and dining. We found a great little restaurant/bar called "Jackson's on George" that is close to Circular Quay. Try the Beef & Guinness Pie! Yum.
