Beautifully restored old building in a fantastic location. The room was very clean - even the hallway smelt clean and the king size bed was devine - one of the best beds in a hotel I have slept in. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel - great value for money.

Communal areas had very strong
Communal areas had very strong smell of Mr Sheen furniture polish - didnt smell clean, smelt perfumed. Bedroom nice although very small for a "super-king deluxe" - great bed, but no room for anything else! Bathroom was very ordinary - a bit old, bath uninviting (not at all suitable for a long relaxing soak), cheap finish - quite unlike expectation from a luxury hotel these days. Room service food good - nice curry well presented and lovely fruit salad. Why no valet parking? With typical sydney traffic, added approx 20 mins onto my check-in time to park the car myself.
