Great Location, Great Service
The Four Seasons is in a location that can't be beat - literally steps from Circular Quay and the Rocks. Upon arrival we decided to pay an extra $80 per day and upgrade to the 21st floor with a direct view of the Opera House and Harbor Bridge - the view was dramatic and we could see the ferries and people coming and going all day long. We took in a Regina Spector show at the Opera House and it was not much more than a 5 minute walk. Our room was immaculate, everything worked as it was supposed to, and there was no noise heard from the street or ferries outside, plus the elevators were fast and efficient. Hotel service was excellent as well from the maid to front desk to concierge. We regularly used the swimming pool area and the sauna and steam rooms and they were clean and well-maintained. The only annoyance was the $25 per day Internet charge and when you have two PC's and log in with one it logs out the other... The hotel is expensive but highly recommended.

CQ Cafe was a 2 minute walk (just beyond the Starbucks) and is a great location for a tasty outside breakfast (and costs much less than the Four Seasons).

Close to Opera House, good value for a four seasons
Not as glitzy as your average 4 seasons, but very conveniently located close to the Rocks district. Nice rooftop pool and large rooms with breathtaking views. Staff is professional and helpful.

Disappointing Business trip
We spent 4 nights at the Four Seasons in Sydney during a business trip down under; I had previously stayed at the Westin and was looking for a little extra that usually the FOur Seasons provide. Unfortunately this property is undergoing some renovation, and probably will need some more. Rooms are small, internet connection expensive and very poor if you have to do anything apart checking your emails, there is only one restaurant in the hotel and no real space to have a business meeting. Good points are the staff (very nice and welcoming) and the location that works well for both business and pleasure.

Had a great time at the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney. The staff really understands how to put the guest first in providing very high quality service. The room was great and the view of the harbor, the Opera House and the Harbor Bridge was stunning!!

The location is worth the price of the room. I did upgrade from a deluxe room to corner suite. I could have stayed in the room all day & watch the goings on of the harbour!! The service was impeccable. From the hotel we could walk to most tourist attractions.

Great Location
After just having stayed at the Conrad Centennial in Singapore, I was a little let down by the Four Seasons. The buffet was not included in my room rate, so it was $35-42 every morning to eat. I thought that was a little over the top. My room was nice and comfy, and I got all my wake up calls on time. The buffet was good and had a lot of diverse dishes. The location is PERFECT for strolling the Circular Quay and exploring The Rocks. It still felt like a Holiday Inn after staying at a 5 star in Asia. I'm being a little too critical, I know, but Asia 5 star is amazing!

A fairly standard four seasons
A fairly standard four seasons in a great location. Our opera house view room actually had a beautiful view of the landmark, which was a pleasant surprise (one kind of expects these things to be grossly exaggerated!). Staff very courteous and efficient, so no complaints there. Turned out that the swimming pool was going to be closed for renovation, which had not been mentioned at all at the time of booking only a couple of weeks previously - a bit naughty of the hotel. Guests could go over to the Marriott for the pool apparently, but oh come on. Overall very satisfied with the stay otherwise.
