BEST WESTERN PLUS Hotel Stellar Sydney

Great location for tourism,quiet room equivalent to 3 stars Best Western in USA. Nothing offensive and nothing great to report... If they had disclosed anywhere the cost of breakfast or Wi-Fi , then i may have tried it But instead i went half a block away to enjoy them at Marriot, No regret but no outstanding memories ! Proximity to Bus stop( Bondi /Bronte beaches)and Subway was the main attraction to me.OK

I've stayed at this hotel several times before, but my stay this time was bedevilled by incredibly noisy neighbours partying on the same floor late into Sunday morning. A call to the night duty manager proved ineffective.

Very clean, helpful staff, within easy reach of the Opera House, Bridge and shopping area. Would stay again!

This hotel was created by converting an old warehouse/office building into a small hotel. The location is great. The rooms are very large with high ceilings but poorly lit. Don't count on doing much work in them at night. They were difficult to heat in winter. The elevator is very noisy when it stops or starts which reverberates into the rooms from the corridor. I wish something would be done about this old elevator

good location and room. can recommend. the only cons is for the lift. it super slow and noisy. it time to change to new one !!

Clean well located hotel. reasonably priced for central Sydney

Great things: The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly with great knowledge of the surrounding area including good restaurants and areas to visit etc. The hotel itself was clean and modern and fairly central. Opportunities for development: The one and only tiny lift was the slowest ever, if I didn't have a room on the top floor I would have walked up the fire exits as it would have been quicker. The water hammer or pipe noises in the walls were fairly disruptive during the night - this was told to the staff and they were going to have a look at it so hopefully that will be fixed soon. The king size bed was two singles pushed together with a top over it, you could still feel the break in the middle which was a little uncomfortable if you rolled into it. Dont expect a grand entrance, just neat and petite.

Location very good, Nice and clean, Good kitchenette, Bathroom small, but functional, internet was only real complaint . This should be standard; not good wi-fi, and should be free or include in price( would not mind paying couple dollars a day more) Would go back

I was in Sydney for my 65th birthday, and as I am used to booking hotels in London, I booked this one. I wasn't disappointed, and it was so easy for getting transport, and picking up our luggage to go back to the airport.. also very comfortable.

This hotel lived up to its reviews and more. Located at the end of Hyde Park and near Museum underground station, the Stellar is ideal for transfers by airport train and walking tours of Sydney. The walk to Circular Quay is interrupted by the ANZAC memorial, the Art gallery, the Sydney Botanical Gardens and the Opera House. We saw all of the sights in 3 days, including a day at Manley Beach. We liked the Stellar and it's friendly attentive staff. Internet had to be paid for but time could be used in segments and did not have to be used all at once, unlike many hotels. There were plenty of restaurants in the area and night life was only a short walk from the front door. This was part of a special trip for us and I wanted good hotels that wouldn't break the bank. The Stellar ticked all of those boxes. We would certainly stay again.
