Awesome stay, will definitely stay again. A proper mini bar - not just a few aussie beers thrown in a fridge - buffet breakfast included, which was top drawer. Great location, so overall very happy, especially as the charlatans gig was quality as well.

amora jamison
overall very nice service and many stylish touches in the rooms but the tvs are small/old. the tiling in the bathroom area needed to be regrouted/cleaned around the shower and tub. gym was small and old equipment. overall had a dated feel. one other issue---they charge extra for using a credit card so be prepared to pay additional 1.5 to 3 percent. definitely not a 5 star but probably 4 star is right

Luxury hotel in financial district
Stellar first-class service without being overly superficial. Great service from each member of the staff. Loved the pillow menu and dentrifice kits. We got a corner room on the 4th floor that looked like a studio! Would have liked a plasma on the desk and fluffier towels, but loved the bathroom design and the firm mattress. Five minute walk from the Circular Quay (take a ferry to Taronga Zoo or Manly Beach) and the Rocks where you can shop at DFS Galleria or grab a beer. Highly recommend Pancake House, which is about a 200 meter walk.

Money-saving tip:
Short drive from hotel
Take the Cityrail from the airport ($10 for students, $15 for regular) to the Wynard Station, which is a 2 min walk to two min walk to the hotel. It's much faster than any shuttle. Georges Street is also very close and they have the free 555 green/blue buses on the weekends that will take you up and down the city centre to the Queen Victoria Building, World Square and Paddy's Market.

Lovely hotel, very clean and in a great location. Our booking was mixed up. Not sure how. We booked a Jamison Club room, but Hotel did not have this in their system until I showed them the voucher from Hotel Club booking. Hotel sorted this out after a couple of goes mind you. My advice to others, is always take a copy of your voucher with you.
