Adina Apartment Hotel Sydney, Habourside

The location is good, the staff appears to be friendly but I had a bad experience. When I arrived my credit card was denied so I asked the manager to please call the collect number to verufy that it was me using it (sometimes I have to do that when I go oversee). He refused and asked me for another credit card. My sister gave him hers. However, I spent the all first day trying to call the Capital One CC unsuccessfully. In Sidney the pay phone does not allow you to place a call. The cell phone also didn't work, so after using all our cash we had to go back to the hotel. At which time I decided to make that phone call from my room. I did the problem was fixed; but at the end of my stay I was given a bill for $13.oo just for the connection. I will not use that hotel again.

The location of our room was excellent. We had a harbor view. The staff was very friendly. However, there were a few things in need of repair in the room. There were sliding doors closing off the sleeping area. The main door was off the runner and would not close. We reported this to the staff and were told someone would be by to fix the issue. No one ever fixed the door in our 10 day stay. Also, the shower flooded the bathroom when showering and had mildew stains, not something you expect to see in a hotel advertized as high end. They advertise a gym, however the machines are in disrepair. The one cable machine didn't work, the free weights are limited, and the cardio equipment was so old. We found a gym close by and bought a 10 visit pass so we could work out while there. All in all, I would stay there again despite the updating needed.

1 Lift was broken when I stayed there which made it difficult to go in & out of the hotel room, which took very long. Did not get the Twin rooms I wanted & the staff did not give it to us without paying extra, even though it was stated in the hotel confirmation slip. CD player didn't work. Overall, it's ok for staying 1-2 nights, otherwise, it's not at all that comfortable for over a few days.

Excellent location near Darling Harbor. Walkable distance to all the attractions. The room was spacious and had all the amenities needed in an apartment. The couches in the apt looked old and needed some refurbishment. Would certainly recommend it for anyone staying near Darling Harbor.

Great location. Room not as large as advertised but clean and adequate.

The room was a decent size, I thought that the decor was a bit tired and the carpet had stains on them. The location was good for getting into the city and harbour, both only minutes walk away. The down side to the location was a bit of traffic noise which wasn't has bad as i thought. BUT at the weekends there was alot of noise from the local clubs/ bars and you could hear the constant booming of the base, which would go on and on into the early hours. Reception staff where brilliant, I don't think it warrants a 4plus rating its more an 3 plus. I would probably try else where next time.

Rugs are in need of replacement . No frying pan . Asked front desk and they said that there should be one and that they would see to it . By the time we checked out , still no frying pan .... but other than that, they were very helpful and we quite enjoyed our stay. The best part was it's location : 1 street off the Darling Harbor ; we actually had a partial view of the water . Would recommend the hotel.

The location was in a hard to get to site and the parking area was very confusing. There is no onsite dining or bar facilities though there is a bottle shop close by. It was OK but I will not stay here again

Very handy location, Friendly staff, However Shower was small & dirty.

Good location, plenty of cafes and restaurants around for meals. One bed appt on 3rd floor adequately equipped, liked the laundry in the bathroom.
