HAd a great time, if a bit cheaper

Pampering and total relaxation reach a new level at the Aqua Spa, comprising a 25 m lap pool, 3 thalassotherapy spa pools, fully equipped gymnasium and 12 treatment rooms for use of guests over the age of 18 yrs.
This 4 star resort also features an outdoor heated pool, kids club weekends &NSW school holidays only, 4 restaurants, 3 bars and an onsite hotel and bottle shop.
There is a range of different accommodation styles to suit most budgets, including one, two and three bedroom apartments, most of which are self contained.
Shoal Bay Resort & Spa Port Stephens Rooms

- Studio style room with 1 king bed and 2 single beds (King bed can be split into 2 single beds). We walked off the elevator on
We walked off the elevator on the 2nd floor and as we walked to our room we noticed that the roof had mould growing on it. Not a great first impression. We then got to our room. Which was clean, however you did not feel comfortable. We walked through the door and to our right was the bedroom, (once is sectioned off by french sliding doors). The bedroom has no windows. Next to the bedroom on the right was a bathroom including a toliet, a sink and a shower of the bath. For $250 dollars a night I think you would expect a spa bath? Then after the toliet you walk into a room that is open and big, at the end of the room there were curtains, which were the only light or fresh air source, the problem however, is that you are looking into another hotels flight of stairs 5ms away. So we closed the curtains all the time, and with that being the only source of light, you never knew what time of morning it was and your eyes hurt when you went outside.

Very nice location, but a bit
Very nice location, but a bit tired and for an apt style there is no cooking facility. We thought a bit overpriced for what you got.
