Family time

Everything was I would have expected except there r no signs to accommodation. If you don't look at the map, ( as both us and another couple didn't do) you get lost finding our room. Maybe that was our fault, but if other guests are doing the same then it may need signage.

Stayed 2 nights on a business trip. Very comfortable rooms, luxury finishes. Very quiet location. All I could hear were the birds of a morning. Made use of the good gym facilities and the pool.

great view

lucky to get booking in a half price of room and breakfast package. The room is big and comfortable. Great view from the balcony. The down point is the airconditioner, it is very noisy and I have to trun it off at the midnight, otherwise it is a great stay.

Weekend Away

This is a good hotel, clean, with amenities and clean rooms. Just don't believe it is good value, especially when the bed is so small

Wonderful setting and very central to all Vineyards. Room was large with comfortable bed and clean facilities. Food in restaurant was exceptional and priced as per the location. Look forward to going to the Hunter Valley again and staying at this hotel.

Stopover

Food and Service was very good however the bed was very squeaky (squeaked at every move), the shower pressure was poor and the floorboards in the hall outside squeaked, all in all poor nights sleep!

Perfect escape in the vines

Located only minutes away by car from Hunter Valley Gardens, this hotel is the perfect place to stay while at the Hunter. We found it very convenient to access the vineyards and local restaurants. The hotel has different sections - we stayed at the Manor House which felt quite like a country estate. Containing many of its original fittings, this accommodation is in no way scarce of character. The bathrooms have however received an upgrade adding a touch of modernity to a heritage property. And the price at which the rooms are set is what solidifies this as a deal-maker! Definitely worth considering if looking for somewhere to stay in the area.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Don't miss out on Australia's largest light show spectacle which is held at the Hunter Valley Gardens from early November until the end of January. It's well worth the visit for people of all ages.
