This hotel is not up to Marriott

This hotel is not up to Marriott standards - do not be fooled by the name. The rooms are very poor quality and badly in need of refurbishment. The restaurant is quite good. The price is not reflective of the quality of the hotel and does not represent value for money. I would not stay here again.

I cannot believe that the room

I cannot believe that the room I stayed in is rated as a deluxe suite and is advertised on the Hotels website as $380 per night. I apparently got a bargain - only paying $112 per night. This was one of the most basic hotel roooms I have ever stayed in. It's rated as a 4.5 star hotel but I would rate it at maybe 2-3 star. I would certainly not expect to pay more $112 for this type of accommodation.

I stayed on Easter Saturday night

I stayed on Easter Saturday night and the Marriot had its restaurant and bar closed with no explanation of where guests could find an evening meal or get a pleasant drink. Otherwise, the standard was the normal Marriot standard.
