The hotel was in a good location
The hotel was in a good location at Parramatta. While the hotel presented welll from the outside and in the public areas the room that I had was only average for the price I paid. I think the hotel requires refurbishment or downgrade the rating from 4 star to 3 star.

Its not called the Marriott any
Its not called the Marriott any more it is called Clarington or something. Its outdated, pillows need updating as well. Had six of our guest with us, in 3 other rooms they said was uncomfortable night. We have never had to leave a $150.00 deposit at any hotel we have stayed at all over the world. Breakfast was lovely & staff was very helpful..

The accommodation rooms are old
The accommodation rooms are old and out-dated (including the most antiquated air conditioning system in any hotel I have stayed in over the last 10 years. The hotel needs a major refurbishment !!. The hotel car parking is value for money - ie. not a rip off.

Good standard of hotel in sydney
Good standard of hotel in sydney area, train journey into sydney 25 mins, very large westfield shopping centre on your doorstep and only 15 mins to sydney olympic park.

An old hotel that has had a paint cosmetic facelift, but is otherwise showing it's age. An inhouse gym would be nice

Very friendly staff. We stayed
Very friendly staff. We stayed there over new years, which was a busy time, but they were always ready to help. Still a bit of 90's furniture / Decor. Excellent cleaning staff.

The staff are very friendly &
The staff are very friendly & polite - i have nothing negative to say. The location is perfect for someone who need public transport [buses are closeby/ trains are closeby and the shops are 5-10 minutes walk.] Parking is also available. there is a Westfield shopping center with several floors. I would recommend courtyard by marriott hotel at parramatta to anyone & to my friends. Many thanks
