in the top 2 worst hotels i've stayed in
the whole experience at this hotel was really bad, from the attitudes of the front desk staff, to the resturaunt only open when they want to, cocroaches in the room, shower had mold and was small for a luxery hotel. it was definitely way over priced and i should be compenstated for it and the time i spent trying to get some service there. i don't know if it is because they are turning it into a condo/home project very soon or they just don't care from an ownership level. the only good thing is the location to the beach and municipal transportation very near.

This hotel is directly opposite
This hotel is directly opposite Bondi Beach. It has parking downstairs at a good rate. I stayed here for business, but was able to surf the next morning simply by crossing the road. The decor is a bit faded but all clean and in good order. My room was a suite with a separate lounge area and second TV. The on site gym and pool are among the best. Staff were helpful. The breakfast buffet was very tasty. It included a wide range of dishes. Enjoy this Bondi icon while you can.

Terrific location across the road
Terrific location across the road from Bondi Beach. Excellent breakfast buffet and service. We stayed in a Junior King Suite which had excellent views and was very roomy and comfortable.Unfortunately, Spa bath was damaged and had a sign posted NOT FOR USE, should definitely be replaced. Definitely stay again.

Great location!
I in Sydney for business, but wanted to stay on the beach to mix a bit of vacation into the trip. This hotel worked out great. It was convenient for mornings and weekends for a quick swim (great surf for the surfers out there) and only 20 minute taxi to the central business district. The hotel was clean and comfortable with very spacious rooms, although it felt a little dated in terms of renovation.

Short walk from hotel
Do the Bondi Beach to Bronte Beach coastal walk. It's a few miles, with the trail starting on the south side of the beach by the Swim Club, Icebergs. It's a beautiful walk through the cliffs and rocks.

A great place to stay on Bondi Beach
A great place to stay in Sydney- especially if you like the beach. There are good places to run along the coast assuming you can put up with the amount of people on the sidewalks- we were there during the Jan. holidays. There are good places to eat nearby and the bus connections are very good. The hotel is quite European- not too many extra perks such as in room coffee (its a hot pot that has instant coffee) or breakfast included (that is an extra cost). The hotel was a bit older and the pool area needs some updating but everything was clean and comfortable. The ocean view was priceless.

Don't bother to rent a car. Take the 333 bus (prepaid ticket available at most convenience stores)to Circular Quay which is right next to the Rocks, Sydney Opera House, Harbor Bridge and all ferries. Try to pick up a multi-pass bus pass if you plan to stay a while- a good value for all buses, trains and ferries.

Great coffee bar!
We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The decor was a bit dated. We did not have luck trying to use the hot tub one night. The water was cold. I think it was out of order or something. The coffee in the main lobby was good!

The service we received at the
The service we received at the hotel was absolutely fantastic. We were travelling with our 11 month old daughter and nothing was too much trouble. Within 10 mins of checking in they had placed a microwave and portacot in the room for use and were a great help when booking cabs with baby seats for travelling. The staff were efficient, courteous and friendly.
