Stayed Frid-Sun. Excellent check
Stayed Frid-Sun. Excellent check in & out. Spacious apartments. Amazingly quiet. Bathroom cleanliness needs attention. Insufficient under cover parking means finding parking in Mort St behind & there is no indication of full inside to save you going in & trying to manouvre to get out again. Did not use breakfast/dining areas. Can walk to Civic centre in 5 minutes. Bus stop at door.

Overall very good for first stay.
Overall very good for first stay. Buffet breakfast generous in variety. It's helpful when staff are familiar with local area. Thank you for the parking.

The location is on the Northbourne
The location is on the Northbourne Ave accommodation strip - but close to the city centre (previously Saville Park Suites). The service was erratic in terms of room servicing and internet access. We didn't try the restaurant.

Everything to do with the rooms
Everything to do with the rooms was good the only negative point is your restaurant. The waiter we had for our dinner on the Saturday was hopeless. The staff were too involved attending to a wedding and talking to each other then looking after restaurant patrons. One issue we were amazed at was - We ordered a bottle of wine for 3 people and were brought an already opened bottle of wine and 1 glass. The same waiter carried all three dishes to our table but one of the dishes was carried in the armpit area.

Extra charged for parking then no parking available. Cafe overrun and under resourced. Star rating technically correct, but walls/floors very thin and quality of fitout very low. Better value available in Canberra

The rooms are very comfortable
The rooms are very comfortable and clean. However our airconditioner's remote did not work. When you are staying at a hotel with the rating of a Mantra I should hope that would be checked when cleaning the room. However the problem was rectified by staff very quickly. The food in the restaurant is of high quality and the service was good.
