room 316, damaged vanity unit, bath / shower grout missing, silicone mouldy - amature install, very dirty balcony floor, door & seat, continuous noise from running water, no continuous water temperature hot the cold, very noisy location (hence the supply of ear plugs supplied) overall would not recommend, carparking not suitable for larger vehicles

this is a fairly dated hotel -
this is a fairly dated hotel - it has spacious rooms and lovely staff but the ambience and feel of the place fell short of expectations. my room could have been cleaner, the blanket on the bed was dirty and required washing. the pillows were extraordinarily firm and not comfortable. the whole room felt like it didn't get a fresh airing very often - it was stuffy and stale. the breakfast was reasonably priced but i decided on eating at a cafe to ensure reasonable coffee on the second morning.

Room was clean with decent facilities. Hotel Reception staff could have been a little more welcoming but otherwise a decent place to stay for the price.

while the presentation was good,
while the presentation was good, a friendly smile and can do attitude from recepetion desk was missing! The beds were good but the noise was terrible. Non stop traffic throughout the night, a 'groaning lift' & a noisy breakfast preparation. I would choose another hotel next time

We received a warm welcome at reception and efficient service. The room was clean and comfortable if a little cramped for four people. Haig's Italian Restaurant, where we had dinner, provided an excellent meal and courteous, efficient service. We appreciated the convenient location and enjoyed our stay.

It was a pleasure to stay there.
It was a pleasure to stay there. The staff were wonderful...they couldnt help you enough. Its so nice to see a smiling face when you enter the foyer. Would highly recommend this hotel.

just right for self catering.
just right for self catering. The room was nice, comfortable, clean and tidy.The location was just a 10mins walk from the city centre large shopping centre (groceries and major shops ect) perfect. there was a bus stop almost outside the door.

Quite unhelpful and generally
Quite unhelpful and generally disinterested staff at the front desk (We came across a few and only 2 were friendly and helpful). Unable to give us info in regards to airport buses or for that matter any buses, even ones passing by their front door! Found stuff under the bed that had clearly been there for a while- and did not belong to us- I am also still trying to get the dirt out of my daughters clothes from crawling on the really dirty carpet! YUK! Also they have no cot, very unhelpful. Will not stay here again.
