Rooms
Marble baths, pillow-topped mattresses, stocked mini-bars and fully loaded entertainment centers have been upgraded recently as part of the $22 million resort-wide renovation at the Westin Aruba Resort. Modern wood furniture and sleek flat screen TVs are in all rooms. Floor-to-ceiling windows are extra-stunning when paired with pool or ocean views.Dining
Guests can enjoy breakfast or a light lunch poolside at the Terrace. At Azul, chefs prepare intricate four-course dinners that are meant to be shared with a loved one on the beach during sunset. Try and resist doing an impression of Bogart while at Rick's CafƩ, which is outfitted with comfortable teak and rattan armchairs.Recreation
A Kids Club offers scheduled activities, and the Little Chef program allows kids ages 6 and up to prepare a meal (with expert supervision) for their happy parents. The Westin Aruba Resort fitness center provides ample opportunities to elevate one's heart rate ā as do the azure ocean views one sees while snorkeling or fishing. Disappointed in hotel. We had torn towels that were not soft very worn out should be replaced. Paint was peeling off in the tub I guess they refinished them but the paint was chipped off. Nail head sticking up out of tile in bath room floor. No robes which we had before when we staye. Trouble with safe in room. Told staff nothing done about towels until next day safe fixed same day This was our 3rd stay don't know if I would stay again. No snack shop open late at night. Disappointed.

I had no problem and everybody in the hotel was very helpful and friendly. The room was confortable and clean but the bathroom needs a little upgrade, really nothing special and the shower had was not that good. Bath tub peeling off didn't cause a good impression. Amenities very good.

This Hotel only offers buffet for Breakfast and it is inside and very expensive. If you are not that hungry and wants to experience a breakfast by the beach, go to Gilligan's Bar (part of Radisson) a few yards from the Hotel. The food is great, excellent service and you will have a breakfast looking at the wonderful blue Caribbean Sea!

From the moment I walked into this hotel until the moment I left, I was treated very nicely. It's a bit pricey on the resort, but I suppose that is typical. The beds are amazing! There is stunning scenery and everything nearby. I intend to go again!

Mini Vacation
Went there for a weekend getaway. Iāve seen plenty of reviews of complaints about the 'premium ocean view' - this way the hotel sits it DOES NOT seem to have rooms that fully face the ocean. Youāre not going to be looking out your room to only see beach/ocean. We had a 'premium ocean view' and it was pretty darn terrific! Yes, there was the dirt parking lot, but LOOK PAST IT...all you saw was the sea! We were on the 14th floor. Yes, the room is 'dated', but it's NOT a brand new hotel. Be reasonable. It's in pretty darn good condition if you actually think about how much it is used. LOVED the fact that they had a very large clock on the outside of the building for when you were at the beach. I've seen reviews also of bad service. Heck, just be nice to people and they'll be nice back! The only 'problem' we had was it was 4pm and housekeeping still hadn't touched our room. (They have a sign in the room saying they do rooms from 9am-6pm and to let them know if you prefer a certain time). We called downstairs for more towels and within 2 minutes they were at our door! If you like Italian food the Baci restaurant is a MUST! It was fabulous! If you want a guaranteed Palapa (Beach hut) you do have to get in line in the morning if you want it for free, or reserve it the day before for a fee ($25 for front row/$15 for middle/$10 for back). We did the reservation for a front row and came down at 8am to it being all set up. LOVED to see the list of all the activities downstairs too going out by the pool doors. All in all I will be going back!

great trip!
just got back from our trip. loved the westin! the people who work there are so nice, everyone was helpful and pleasant. great location, near the cute shopping strip, close to restaurants and right on the beach. the only complaint is that the beach is a little small and crowded, but most of the beaches on the high rise strip are. it was a minor issue, the beach is so beautiful, you can walk over a little and have the whole beach to yourself. last time i stayed at the marriot which was much more crowded and full of kids. the rooms were clean and comfortable, and as soon as you call and ask for something they send it right over. would stay at the westin again.

Ok place
My husband & I stayed at the Westin for our 30th anniversary. Room was not a prem ocean view as booked. More like a ocean, parking lot, construction site view. Room was clean & comfortable. Front desk staff not friendly, maid service & bell men wonderful, restaurants ok but better food can be found at better price. Phone was broke in room whole time, I complained twice, was ignored..no biggie. Loved the location, loved Aruba. We were just not wowed by the Westin..I wanted to be..really I did; it just didn't happen. We will return to Aruba (loved it, loved people) but will try a different hotel next time. When I pay the resort price I expect to be treated a little better..we weren't not even on our anniversary
