Timeless traveler
Paradise Found
Our week at the Occidental Allegro Aruba was wonderful. The staff could not have been more accomodating. The hotel was spotless and the beach and pool were just great. We cannot wait to return to Aruba.

Silver Anniversary Couple
A Great Couples Getaway
I read several reviews, and was concerned with this hotel. When we arrived, the staff was friendly, everything was clean and I loved the food. We didn't have problems getting a reservation for dinner, or even getting towel and getting a nice spot around the pool. We went the last week in April, and think this was the best time to go.

Great vacation
Everything you could want in a vacation. Beautiful island, beach, hotel, amenities all inclusive. Recommend not getting there until late afternoon. They are very strict with check in time which is not until 4:00. We had to wait 5 hours to get in our room. Make sure they stock your mini fridge daily. Ours didn't and I had to complain but once I did it was every day. Make your dinner reservations early when you get there as they do fill up and you are only allotted a certain number for the amount of nights you are there for. Food is delicious throughout the hotel. Staff is friendly

Eat at zen do Hibatchi. Make reservations as space is limited. Buffet nights for dinner are not great I would recommend eating outside the hotel one night especially madame jannetes

Underwhelming beach vacation
it was a a great location and the food at this all inclusive was good but the hotel needs a facelift, the rooms were a bit shabby and small...also paid extra for a beach front room and got a view of a parking lot with barely a side view of ocean... and they were not able to change my room

Relaxing Getaway

Clean, sophisticated, friendly!
Top shelf hotel in EVERY respect. Food was varied and cooked perfectly. Rooms were spotless every day. The drinks were perfect and consistant. Staff looked as though they had just stepped from the pages of G.Q. A lot of time & research went in to making sure that customers return. The staff even apoligized for a brief 10 minute rain shower that blew though in the morning! This is a rare and hard to find value and travel experience. I highly recomend this hotel for it's professionalism.

Good hotel
Great location, good food, good entertainment, good bar service. Only problem was the first night: room was not what we asked for, and room did not have soap, hand towels, wash cloths; and two lights were burned out. I spoke with the manager; but none of the issues were not resolved that first night. The hotel gave us a new room the second night, which was better. The first night issues, and their inability to resolve the issues that night, tainted our overall view of the hotel. Also, bottled water is not available from the bar; this is a small thing, but I have seen this at other all-inclusive hotels.

Bird sanctuary is within easy walking distance. We went and saw several birds we have never seen. Great for te bird watcher.
