Brickell Bay Beach Club and Spa / Boutique Hotel

Overall, I don't have any complaints about the hotel. It was clean and close to the beach. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. I didn't have hot water on the first night but that was promptly fixed after I mentioned it to the the front desk.

I wish that I could rate this hotel better, I really do. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and nice (except the drain in the shower that basically never went down), the location is perfectly situated a block from the beach in between the major hotel chains in the area. We just took being able to sleep for granted... The problem is that my wife and I were kept awake every single night until about 3am from the DJ blasting his loud, pulsating music. It was absolutely ridiculous. The hotel said there is nothing they can do, and I actually witnessed the night manager ask security to ask them to turn it down, yet nothing happened. Every morning I complained to the hotel and every night nothing changed (5 nights). The DJ is located at the hotel's pool bar (the Sandbar). As a former hotel guest, I felt like the owner values his outdoor nightclub more than he values his hotel guests. If you are going to Aruba to stay out partying late into the night/early morning and sleep in, then this might be for you. But, if you going to Aruba to relax, stay somewhere else.

Location was perfect every activity was 5-10 min away. Front desk prompt and good reply but room service was not good Not recommended because: Locker not working initially. I did not do room service till it got fixed. Wrong information on how to use to locker made things more confusing till it got fixed. Toilet got clogged. I cannot call room service as m y locker was not fixed. Cannot control AC from room. The controller is locked using a lock and key. All these things did got fix after talking to receptionist. But On last day before leaving we ran out of toilet rolls and other basic things. I had to wait for 30-45 minute and after 4th call to front desk when it was hard to wait, they told we already put things in your bathroom yesterday night. Before loosing tempor I only told them "I need it now" and finally room service did gave things what requested. NO water back up. Day before leaving they had some water isssues in morning which led to no water for like 60-90 minutes. I had rented a car but was not needed as most of things near by. I had to go to do snorkel which was 5 minutes walking. I was happy that receptionist told us that you can get a free ride from our people which will take 30-45 seconds to reach to destination using electic van. When i went to see that guy; I requested where i had to go then he told me "who told you to get this ride? I told receptionist booked my activicty. And he gave a bad look to receptionist. I did not need it I could have paid a taxi if wanted to, but it was not welcoming. Like i said location was good other things ok. Breakfast was good too

The hotel is at a very good location, you are close to the other hotels, casinos and restaurants. The beach is 5 minutes away but if you don´t want to walk, the hotel has shuttle service. When you arrive they will give you vouchers for a welcome drink and casinos. Free wireless at the lobby and BIG breakfast included (Really, they give a great big breakfast) The not-very-positive thing was that one staff at the front desk couldn´t give information about the buses and cab prices, but the website of the buses was the way to go! When another staff was at the front desk he went to the computer and printed the schedule for me (That was great for the ride back to the hotel) Another not-very-positive was the humidity inside the room. The walls were literary sweating. It got better after turning off the AC the second night.

I went down to Aruba to surprise my family members traveling there. Booked this on a whim and read some not so nice reviews. IMO the Staff was kind and helpful, the room was small but I expected that. the Room was cleaned, and cleaned well 2x a day. The location was as expected a short 2minute walk to Palm Beach. It is not Raddison or Hyatt but what I saved in Nightly Room rates I was able to enjoy my time in Aruba a little more. I wold stay here again.

Check in/out were easy and quick. Staff was very accommodating and always friendly. I was quickly changed rooms due to an air conditioner leak and was satisfied with the room. Turn down service was nice and the complimentary drinks and breakfast was also a plus. Great location along the high rise strip for an average price. I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel was located near all the highrise hotels making it a great location. Except for the exception that it was not on the beach but very close to the beach. WIFI was never available!!!!

If you only want a place to sleep and shower and are on a budget, this is a good place for you. If you are going to spend a lot of time in your hotel and are a fan of personal service and amenities, not the place for you. It is a good location if you don't mind being across the street from the beach, but is an older property and shows its age. The staff was hit or miss - the front desk was not very friendly and actually took adavantage of us when booking an excursion. The maid and maintenance men were fantastic and helpful. The room is absolutely ordinary and the amenities are very scarce. We will probably look for somewhere else next visit, but not a terrible experience. Pros: price, location, quiet Cons: front desk staff, older property, few amenities

Prices better then the Large Hotels. Rooms are comfortable, recently updated by lack luxurious feel. The first two days there was only cool water in the shower, the desk told us "We don't have Hot Water", finally on the third we found a maintenance man who fixed the problem.
