Largest luxury resort on Palm Beach has hotel-within-a-hotel and casino

The Aruba Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino recently enjoyed a makeover worth $50 million. That resulted in the deluxe Stellaris Casino -- the largest in Aruba -- and the adults-only Tradewinds Club, which offers guests an intimate hotel within a hotel experience, with luxury amenities, and exclusive lounge and beach privileges. The hotel is a recipient of the Tripadvisor 2012 Certificate of Excellence award.

Rooms
The Aruba Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino has 411 spacious guest rooms with the largest balconies in all of Aruba. Rich red and mossy green colors decorate the room, and a key feature is the extra-restful beds, which have down comforters and pillows, custom duvets, and high thread count cotton linens. Kick back and watch cable on the 37-inch LCD flat-panel TV found in every room.
Dining

There is no need to leave the resort: fine dining at the Aruba Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino comes in many forms, and has garnered accolades from the critics. Eat buttery filets at Ruth's Chris Steak House, or nibble on sashimi at Ketsu Sushi Bar. La Vista has a themed, fresh buffet for casual meals, and Simply Fish offers seafood for dinner.

Recreation
A bi-level fitness club has complimentary classes, and plenty of cardiovascular equipment, free weights and yoga mats. Stellaris Casino is the largest on the island. Kids activities from arts and crafts to scavenger hunts can be arranged. Palm Beach is steps away, and towel service at the resort pool and sauna is free.

Great Vacation

Marriott Stellaris is a great hotel with a beautiful beach, wonderful views, friendly staff and in close proximity to shopping and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again. Our one challenge was with our 19 month old. There were not enough options for her to eat. We had to make trips to the local supermarkets regularly to ensure we had what we needed for her.

Eat at the places on the beach behind the hotels if you are in the Palm Beach area - less crowded and the food is fantastic.

Aruba Vacation

Wonderful vacation. However we were expecting a King Bed but were told upon check-in our room would be 2 double beds. It was not made clear that an extra call was needed in advance to reserve.

Great time!

First trip to Aruba and wasn't sure what to expect. Would definitely come back to this resort. I like the adult pool (very relaxing and quiet with no kids) and the ocean view room with a balcony was well worth the extra money.

Great Experience!

First time in Aruba and definitely not the last! The Marriott Stellaris was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Check in was quick. Valet was right there when you walked in the doors to take your luggage and offer a refreshing drink. The room was one of the largest I've ever stayed in. The balcony was huge as well. We were in room 337 which overlooked the garden and pool. Beautiful view!!!! The concierge goes out of their way for all your needs. Whether it's booking reservations for local restaurants, providing driving directions or booking excursions on the island. We visited the Simply Fish on the first night for dinner. Food was great and location was right on the beach. The Ruth Chris's restaurant was truly amazing. Best meal by far on the island!!!! The Stellaris is the last hotel on the north end of the island. (A Ritz Carlton is currently being built next door). Great beach front and within walking distance to all the great restaurants. Moomba Beach is a short jot down the beach and great place to watch some beach tennis. Also a younger crowd hangs out there and great music. You get to use 3 pools. We hung out mostly at the pool next door as it had music all the time, games going on, and a swim up bar which offered by one get one free drinks specials daily. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this resort. We will be back for sure!!!!!

Thanksgiving week in Aruba

First visit to Aruba. Staff at the resort and people elsewhere on the island were friendly and helpful. Great dinners at Simply Fish (on the beach) and at Ruth's Chris, and very good lunches at Waves Poolside Bar and Grille. Paid for ocean view room, but spent little time in room, will get lower cost garden view next time. Spent one morning listening to Vacation Club sales pitch- not a hard sell presentation, but very polished. Signed an agreement, but rethinking decision during 10-day grace period.
