The Mill Resort and Suites Aruba

The Mill was a great spot to stay at on the island of Aruba. air conditioning in the room was perfect and cooled the room quickly. very important on such a warm island. there was also a ceiling fan in the room that was easy to operate. location of the mill is great. right across the street from the beach with access to other hotels, and casinos. pool area at the mill is awesome! very clean and friendly with plenty of pool side chairs to lounge in the sun, but also plenty of shade to get away from the sun. very well stocked conveniece store located right in the mill loby along with a nice outdoor resturant and bar. overall great experience especially for the low price! the room was equiped with a hair dryer, iron, and safe to store valuables. a seperate bathroom with a shower and a jacuzzi right in the room. perfect!

The Mill Resort was comfortable, adequate amenities, and very friendly staff. The rooms could have been cleaner and there was a musty odor in the room.

I was exstremly unhappy with this facility. Infact even when a paid extra for another guest the size of the room was just compatable for the size of 2. The bathrooms were not clean and the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor if you took a shower. Although my trip was one night. If it was scheduled for more I would have left that facility and moved to another. I was very unhappy. I was under the impression for other reviews that I would be staying in a wonderful facility.

We just needed a place to sleep really. It was a great value. the beach is across the street and the Mill Resort area on the beach is not as nice as the other hotels/ resorts, but a beach is a beach. Continental breakfast was suprisingly delicious. I was just expecting bagels or something, but they had french toast, pancakes, sausage, homefries, cereal, pastries, a cook to make your eggs to order and more. Nice. Good entertainment too. Dancers, vendors, bingo and great music. A vacation is what you make of it. I think this was a good deal.

We loved Aruba & would have no problem recommending the Mill Resort as a reasonably priced resort in the high rise district for a first vacation as a way to check out the area. The staff are all wonderful and the location is great if you don't care about being on the beach and like to walk and prefer a quieter place to stay.

The Mill was an ok resort. Had to request cleaning for my room 3 days out of the 7 days. One day I killed 4 flies and came back to find 3 of the 4 on the floor. Had to call to get towels replaced and room toiletries were not replaced. The so called fitness center was a total digrace with about 4 machines in a little elongated room. Not all the staff seemed to understand English at all. The shower was so small I kept touching either the shower curtain or the walls. Disgusting. I did a time share meeting and would have bought but for the terrible experience I had. I would not venture to Aruba again.

It is a good hotel for a short period of time, the facilities are good, but it is located in an area far away from downtown, on the other hand the public transportation is good and it is not a big problem to get to downtown fast. It does not have a beach close to it, we had to go to a hotel in front of it so as to access the beach. As I said before, it is a good hotel just to sleep and take a shower.

We, a family of 5, stayed at the Mill resort in Aruba. Service was excellant,our room was a 1 bedroom suite slept all 5 of us very comfortably with room to spare. Pool was emaculate. Only 1 restaurant, not many options. Beach was beautiful, about a 8 minute walk. I would definately stay here again.
