Dutch-inspired Palm Beach budget hotel with two pools, fitness center
Enjoy shuttle service to and from Palm Beach, which is right across the street from the charming low-rise Mill Resort & Suites Aruba. Architecture is Dutch-inspired, as there is even a windmill. Every room or suite has a view of the tropical gardens. Family-friendly to a point (no kids are allowed in the "Royal rooms"), the Mill Resort has activities just for a kids, and a designated playground for little ones, along with two freely flowing fresh water pools.

Light wicker furniture, cool tiled floors, and accents of sea foam green are in each guest room at The Mill Resort & Suites Aruba, from the floral bedspread to the curtains to the view of the tropical gardens from every private balcony or patio. Standard amenities include a safety deposit box, radio and cable TV. Entertain in-room with an equipped kitchenette, which comes with a stove, microwave oven and mini fridge, toaster, blender, and coffee maker. Royal rooms have Jacuzzi tubs.All rooms and suites are non-smoking.

Worst Customer Service Good location

Hotel's location is nice- 5 min from the beach- walking through the Westin Hotel- beginning of the high risers- everything is walking distance. New Supermarket is a short ride with the bus or 30min walk. Took 3 hours!!! to check in and then we got wrong and run down rooms. Only next day in PM after spending hoursat the front desk our rooms became available. Unless you get renovated rooms dont even go there. Front desk is incompetent and giving no help. We spent 10 hours net time solving problems with them. They were out of stock on Internet cards and don't have their own. One person who is great there is Juanna the head of housekeeping.

Ok Hotel

The staff very friendly. Awesome Location however the rooms need a touch. The sinks were crack and dirty.

the mill hotel is located next to a windmill which was brought over from Holland and erected on the island of Aruba. It has been converted into a night spot....and it literally stays open and rocking until the sun comes up..its called Olde Molen and is on same property as The Mill Resort. Check it out!

Mediocre at Best

Front desk staff unwelcoming and not polite. They were not willing to help with problems. Rooms are old, appliances don't work and look like they were picked up at the dump. Beach associated with this "resort" was dirty and just not nice. Shuttle to/from beach dirty and not air conditioned. Towels in room were stained and had rips in them. Don't rent a car from Thrifty Rent a Car in lobby. They rent vehicles with out of date plates. We were stopped by a police officer and had to return the car. We were then stuck with out a car because the other plates were out of date as well. Good stuff: Marie the concierge was great as was the restaurant staff. Food was surprisingly good.

Needs TLC

The rooms need to be scrubbed. Mold in the grout/bathroom. The price is very good for the island, but sometimes you get what you pay for...It would be a great deal if it was cleaner.

Needs TLC

You get what you pay for. Although this hotel has great potential it needs some love. The room needs a good scrub from top to bottom. Compared to other hotels on this island it is a great value...but some elbow grease would surely help.

Don't be fooled! Neither a "resort" or "Suite"

Our stay at the mill was terrible. In fact, we left before our check out. Terrible and snotty staff, overpriced, misrepresented, dated and run down rooms, paper thin walls, leaky ceiling, not on the beach.... skip it!

needed 1 night

The mill was perfect for what we needed, 1 night stay the day before our timeshare was available. The location was awesome, very short walk to the shops and restaurants of the high rise area. This property has an excellent pool, comfortable rooms and a great managers party on the night (thursday) of our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great value for the $$$. made for an extra day on the island.

Walk the half mile to the shops and dining of the High rise strip. everything you need without the cab fare.
