Exceeded expectations
The hotel is in the prime location so you can walk and have many restaurant and activities options. The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. I would definitely recommend it and would go back and stay there again. A big plus was the manager's cocktail party on Tuedays. You get a chance to meet the management of the resort and they give away prizes. We had a wonderful experience here!

There are fast food options that are open late that are a last resort option for late night cravings or quick breakfasts. NOT a money saver: Papillon restaurant was outstanding.

Misleading Advertising by Radisson
Before making our selection of hotel your info on the Radisson showed $200 hotel credits and $100 match play credits. When we arrived it was $150 "beverage credit" and $50 spa credit. I could not use $150 "beverage credit" and to use the match play I was limited to one $10 or $20 ticket a day. Had we known this info we would have gone elsewhere.

This hotel has a great location! They have a great beach with plenty of palapas. Make sure to visit Bugaloe's on the pier next door. The rooms are renovated. The grounds are lush and tropical. The beach and pool are not too crowded which is nice.

Truly Relaxing
Cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in; good food and drinks at variety of restaurants/bars throughout the resort; fabulous beach w/ ability to reserve your own cabana; parrots added a nice touch to the overall feel of the place; nearly all staff were extremely helpful. No wifi in the rooms but we stayed in a room near the lobby and got wireless on the balcony.

Couples Vacation in Aruba
My boyfriend and I read hundreds of reviews for hotels in Aruba and eventually decided on the Radisson, and are so happy we did. The Radisson was the first hotel on the strip and recently did a overhaul on all 3 buildings so everything is pretty much brand new. The beach at the Radisson is THE BEST, we walked down the strip and found most other hotels had rocky beaches. The Radisson has dozens of free papillons set up to protect you from the sun and chairs to lay on, which next to the Riu was one of the only hotels to provide this for free. You can reserve a papillon on the beach the day before at 4 pm which we did twice, but never had a problem getting a spot close enough to the beach. The staff at the bar is excellent, and the drinks were very good. Make sure to go to happy hour and get two for one drinks. We had a $100 beverage credit from the website which we honestly didn't even use all of. We took the Sunset Sail which departed right next to the hotel and it really was beautiful and romantic, we got to know some of the couples near us but the snacks and drinks provided were sub par. The room was clean every day, we enjoyed the spa robes they provided. A tip to save money, go down the street to the Chinese supermarket and stock up on bread, alcohol, peanut butter and jelly, etc. I wouldn't recommend the local Balashi beer cause it made my boyfriend sick. Only downside was our view was of a sidewalk and the fence behind the hotel separating it from the Riu, but I guess you get what you pay for. Restaurants we highly recommend are Barefoot (MUST GO TO), Windows on Aruba, Passions on the beach, Madam Janette, we went to Papillon right across from the hotel and it was just okay. Food is expensive, yes, but what do you expect.. budget for it. Couldn't figure out how to get the hot tubs to work but it was hot enough, we just stayed by the beach and pools (which were very well maintained). The grounds at the Radisson are so pretty, with lizards running around, tall palm trees, a bridge, rivers with fish, and talking birds in cages. Many photo opts. Overall HIGHLY recommend this hotel, when we return to Aruba this is where we'll be staying!
