Great time once we finally got settled

We experienced difficulty checking-in. Our reservation was for my husband, myself and our daughter. When we checked in we were given a room with one king size bed. When I brought to the reservationists attention that there was three of us, she informed me that there were no rooms availabe with double beds until the next day. My daughter and I slept on the bed and my husband had to sleep on a roll away bed. I had to waste an hour the next day getting things worked out. Once we were finally settled, we had a great time. The Radison has recently been redone and it has the best beach location. One drawback is having to wait on line to reserve the beach huts the day before.

Great

Our stay at the Radisson was great. The room was great and the staff was very friendly. The radisson was close to everything- restaurants, mall, shopping.the pier, were all within walking distance. The food was pricey, but it seemed to be expensive on the whole island. Our stay was wonderful!

Last minute getaway

WOW!! Perfect spot on the Beach. Checking in was a little slow and the Lobby is nothing to talk about. However the rest of the grounds are beautiful. Our room was very nice and newly redone. We had everything we needed. The pools are kept very clean and had plenty of room for everyone. Large beautiful beach again room for everyone. Dining options are good. The Sunset grille is not to be missed. Excellent food and service. Happy hour at gilligans everyday from 4-7 was a bit hectic and crazy for me. But 2 for 1 is a draw. The location is diffinetly the best feature of this hotel. You are steps away from great dining acrossed the street. Grocery stores and shopping of all kinds.

Grab a bottle from the Duty free at the Airport. Than pick up some drinks and snacks from the small store 5 mins walk away. The room has a refrig. This helped with the bar and food bill.

Birthday Celebration getaway....

We are still talking about all the memories we made during our recent visit to Aruba. Loved the gardens, palm trees and greens surrounding the hotel. Enjoyed the beach, spa, and friendliness of the staff. No need for a car. Perfect location and walking distance to a lot of restaurants, shops, and other hotels. Easy access to public transportation. Plenty of huts available and no need to wake up early to reserve one. We stayed at the Bonaire Tower and are already making plans to come back. Of all the hotels around the vicinity, it had the most greens and tropical ambience. Wish our visit would have been longer, but all good things must come to an end.

Our second stay here

My wife and I stayed here 3 years ago and loved it. We returned this year with our 11 yo son and the experience was just as good. The property is well maintained. The beach and pools are beautiful and relaxing. We will be staying here again when we return to Aruba.

A Little Slice of Heaven

Wonderful stay, as usual. We come back year after year for the R&R (reliability and relaxation). The Radisson is a true vacation spot in every way. Rob Smith, the former General Manager, saw the multi-year refurbishment completed before his departure this spring. The hotel and resort are better than ever.

If you arrive sooner than the 4PM check in, simply ask to be pre-registered, take a pager with you, and relax and start your vacation. If you bring a change of clothing in your carry-on bag, you can put your beach wear on in the hospitality suite. You will be buzzed when your room is ready. For us it turned out to be around 3PM.

Beautiful Location and Pool

The resort grounds with its meandering paths felt very lush. We loved the pools with beach entry and sand area, although were slightly annoyed at how early (before 7...) you needed to go out to reserve pool seats with umbrellas. Our hotel room was nice and we enjoyed sitting out on its balcony. We were a little frustrated with the maid service though; our room was never cleaned when we came back to it in the late afternoon and we would need to track down the maid to ask if she could clean it next. The location on the beach and nearby restaurants and shops made this a great location though and we definitely liked the resort. If we go back though we may want to stay at the Hyatt down the street where the luxury level seemed to be just a little bit higher.

Repeat customer - better than the last time in 2007

Renovations look great, very clean, courteous staff, great prices, fantastic food at hotel eateries. Sleep number bed control did not seem to operate, but it was not a game-breaker (we were too lazy to ask for help)

Great food in hotel restaurants. Also, some very exquisite bistros if one is willing to travel to more remote places on the island.
