This was our second stay at Manchebo and we plan to go again in September. The location can't be beat. You practically roll out of your bed onto the beach. It's cozy, the staff is great and of course the perfect Aruba weather. I would recommend Manchebo to anyone planning a trip to Aruba..

Great Hotel and Staff

We really enjoyed Aruba and the Manchebo Beach Resort. The staff was outstanding and friendly. The rooms appeared to be fairly new and cleaned daily. There are two resturants in the hotel; one was a steak house. For breakfast we had a choice of ordering or buffet style. There is a small shopping mall arcoss the street along with a Casino. The beach for this resort hasn't crowed, it was peaceful and quiet. We took advantage of a relaxing masssage with the beach in the background. You can also rent a car at the hotel. The jeep is better in order to travel areas of the island where the roads aren't improved. With free maps located in various magazines we were able to travel to points of interests on the island from California Light House, north to the Baby Beach, south. The downtown area is south of Manchebo about 10 minutes, this is where the cruise ships dock. There are plenty of stores to shop. The evening before your departure the hotel staff can schedule a taxis to be at the hotel at your desired time to take you to the airport. We selected this hotel from the evaluations of other visitors and we made a good choice. In the future we will always stay at Monchebo Beach Resort & Spa.

Just right!

Our 1st trip to Aruba. Room was great with micro, fridge, coffee maker, safe & personal size cooler for the beach. Speaking of Beach, it's right outside. Next time we would stay on the first floor, b'cuz I have bad hips. We enjoyed the quiet relaxing atmosphere. Want excitement, take a cab or bus to the high risers and there's plenty of restaurants & shopping or go into town. There was music at Pizza Bob's across the way and Karaoke night was unbelievable, at Casa del Mar, 2 doors down. I probably would stay at the high rise section with older kids. We rented a car for 2 days and went all over the island. Since the island is 16 miles x 6 miles it was easy to do the sites. Everyone at Manchebo Beach was extremely helpful, and smiling all the time. Everyone speaks English which was perfect for us. We never felt unsafe. Can't wait to go back.

Take cab from airport to hotel. It is cheaper than trandsfers. All inclusive not necessary since there are many fine restauarants nearby in city and by high rise hotels. Bus ride to high rise area takes ten minutes and is half the price of cab ride

Wonderful! FYI Yoga is NOT complimentary.

Loved everything about my stay. I definitely like this area of the island and I'm glad I didn't choose to stay on the high-rise side. The beach is amazing. The staff is WONDERFUL. I can't say enough nice things about the staff. Including Nacio the bartender! Great people. The pool is beautiful. The location of the resort is within a block or two of several restaurants and a market. The yoga deck is an AMAZING place to practice. My only complaint is that the website states the yoga and pilates classes are complimentary but they aren't. They cost $15 per class and if you buy 3 you get the 4th free. The classes WERE worth the money, just would've appreciated to know the price ahead of time.

Although this property is on a fabulous beach, it's customer service is lacking. The houskeeping service is horrible. The property is very nice however and the beach is beautiful.

Beautiful location, Friendly staff

This was our 7th stay at Manchebo Resort, a lovely, friendly, small-ish hotel on exquisite Eagle Beach. We are greeted by smiling staff saying 'Welcome Back, Welcome Back!', from George the porter to Joan our housekeeper to Ignacio and Fannie the bartenders. In recent years our room has been upgraded and the amenities are lovely, including a rain shower in the bathroom. We are hoping for one more upgrade...a firmer mattress on the bed. If you stay at the resort, or even if you don't, be sure to book a massage at the Spa. The closest thing to heaven you'll find in this lifetime!

Great Vacation

The hotel is in a great location if you want to relax. It is located in the low rise area were the beaches are larger and less crowded. The restaurants were very good but a little pricey as you would expect at a resort. We did not sign up for the all inclusive because we are not big drinkers. If you do like to indulge in alcohol, I would sign up for the all inclusive. The resort was very relaxing and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. There were not many children at the resort. The only amenity that was missing was an on-site gym, You had access to a gym but had to walk to a sister hotel that was 3 minutes away. All and all I would recommend this hotel and we plan on returning to the hotel in the near future.
