Top-rated elegance for families, or just adults
Renaissance Aruba Resort and Casino - All Inclusive, a 40-acre island paradise, has earned a 4-Diamond rating from AAA and has the only private beach in Aruba. There are two distinct experiences here. The Marina Hotel is adults-only luxury, and the Ocean Suites are family-friendly (and kids 12 and under stay free). A kids club has group activities, while tennis, golf and pools all offer wholesome fun. Work out any kinks with a couples massage at the cove, then hit the casino or an adults-only lounge. Seven restaurants offer fine dining or casual fare.
Highlights
  • 40 acres with beachfront and a private island
  • Patamingo Kids Club has activities and baby-sitting service, and kids 12 and under stay free with two adults
  • Seven restaurants offer fine or casual dining, including a tapas bar, steak house and Starbucks coffee
  • Spa has beachfront massages
  • Yoga classes and fitness center
Rooms
Lush textiles and pillow-topped beds add luxurious touches to rooms at the Renaissance Aruba Resort and Casino - All Inclusive. Many guest rooms offer ocean or marina views. Regardless of room type, a hair dryer, iron station and safe deposit box are available in each. Coffee makers are provided, as is high-speed Wi-Fi access. Premium movie channels are on the extended cable lineup.
Dining
Seven restaurants and several bars and lounges are on-site and offer dining options from fine to casual at the Renaissance Aruba Resort and Casino. Nibble small plates at Blue, a tapas and martini bar. A dessert wine and port list is available at L.G. Smith's, the upscale steak house with a dress code (no jeans). Two Starbucks coffee bars are on-site.
Recreation
Patamingo Kids Club has scheduled activities and baby-sitting service. The Okeanos Spa has a full menu of treatments, sauna and juice bar. The mangrove-hidden Spa Cove offers secluded outdoor massages for couples.

Hidden Paradise

The Hotel was absolutely incredible. It has it's own private island exclusively for Renaissance guests so it was not crowded. A boat that leaves every 15 minutes located within the hotels dock takes you there. On the island there is a lunch/ beach bar spot and two beaches. The Island is stunning and inhabited by friendly iguanas, flamingos, hermit crabs, and other beautiful tropical animals. IGUANAS EVERYWHERE. It was awesome and the water was absolutely clear. The weather in late August was really hot but the sea breeze kept you cool so you did not feel the heat as much (keep applying sunblock). The only bad thing is that there are many mosquitos near the bush and tree areas but just bring some mosquito spray or steer clear of those areas (you will know). There were many dining options including the in-hotel buffet and L.G. Smiths steakhouse which was phenomenal. There is a casino in the hotel if you like trying your luck and a mall within the hotel with many luxury brands and jewelry stores (no tax). Other attractions were nearby at the main strip where there were many bars and restaurants. Eagle beach (10 minutes from the hotel) has water sports including para sailing . jet skis, tubing, and so on. There are tons of things to do in the area but if you really enjoy kicking it back and relaxing, this is the spot to go to. The price was right and the all inclusive price was definitely worth it once you see what you would be paying for dining and drinks if you didn't get the all inclusive. The staff was exquisite and friendly. the rooms were new and spotless. The only hassle was getting water because you always had to swipe your room key and sign for it but you can buy a case of water from a deli and levee them in your fridge. Other than that, it is safe to walk around at night and I highly recommend it. There was a mixture of couples and families with kids. There is a separate adults only beach on Renaissance island if thats what you want. Hope this was helpful!

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

If you love a good steak, go to El Gaucho's Argentinean Grill. It is just a 5 minute cab ride from the Renaissance and has a ton of food options. Tastiest steak I've ever had! The main strip with all the other clubs, restaurants, and hotels is also only a ten minute cab ride away. A lot to see there folks! (Including Señor Frogs)

Honeymoon

Great Hotel, we had an amazing time. The private Island was perfect. The people there are very nice and helpful. There were things that I did not like about the hotel... 1. There wasnt a door for the bathroom, which I thought was odd. I guess they were trying to go for the modern look. 2. The water for the shower was always cool, it never was warm or hot. Besides those two things everything else was great. We had the all-inclusive package that I recommend. We ate and drank and had a great time. You will never have a perfect vacation but this was close. For the Honeymoon the location for this hotel was perfect because it was laid back. Next time we come back we will stay directly off of the beach where all the excitement is.

Amazing Trip

The staff made an effort to know our names. The food and drinks were always flowing. The private beach is totally beautiful & worth the trip alone. The Casino was good, drinks there are free if gaming, and it was not very crowded. The room was gorgeous, the bed was super comfy, & the balcony facing the ocean was breathtaking to view at night. My only issue was with the bathroom, the shower-glass door doesn't extend all the way so it can get cold in there very fast. Overall the trip and hotel were fabulous, I will definitely be returning soon!!!

Honeymoon in Aruba

The staff at this hotel were amazing, friendly, and attentive. The hotel itself was very well kept and provided great luxury. The private island was what made this honeymoon so special. The adults only and family friendly made this two hotels in one and they delivered this very well. Being right downtown was amazingly convenient. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. I would stay at this hotel again next time I'm in Aruba.

Yemanja Restaurant is a great wood-fire grill. and very short walk from hotel. The Old Fisherman Restaurant is a local seafood spot with true Aruban flavours. Local fishermen daily bring in their fresh catch to this little restaurant. Amazing cuisine.

Awesome adults only resort

This is our second year in a row to stay here. The adults only Marina hotel is a great choice for those looking for adults only time. We do the all-inclusive package and it is well worth it if you enjoy adult beverages on your vacay! There are many choices of restaurants/bars. The private island is absolutely amazing. Yes, there are real pink flamingos. There is an adults only beach section with servers from the bar ready to take your order. Service is great everywhere. We'll be back again and again!

Awesome 1st trip

This was our 1st trip to Aruba and what a great time we had. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was so helpful and pleasant. The steak house was soooooo good. If they upgrade anything it would be to take some rocks out of the adult side of the private beach. Will definitely be going back.
