Best Western Central Hotel welcomes business and leisure travelers.
Comfortable and spacious rooms, electronic security locks, cable TV, LCD 32', working desk, mini-bar, individual air conditioner and central heating control, WI-FI and DDN/DDI lines. The Suites have microwave and the Penthouses have whirlpool bath and microwave. Two meeting rooms for several capacities and set-ups. The restaurant offers buffet breakfast with a variety of first quality products.

Best Western Monumental Hotel and Spa
Vacation in Buenos Aires and Patagonia. The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful and spoke English well. Hotel is nicely located for easy access to main sights and good places to eat. Hotel breakfasts were fair by western standards. In short, we enjoyed staying there and have no regrets - just don't go there expecting a spa or luxurious accommodations. You get what you pay for - a clean place to stay.

Poor Hotel Service, Rude Manager
Very bad experience, do not go to this hotel if you are a US buisness person. I travel to Mexico, Central and South America, and Spain, this by far was the worst experience. The restaurant manager/operator was extremely rude. When I asked for a menu she provided a handwritten list. I felt I was asking for a big favor from her. My friend from Buenos Aires agreed the hotel restaurant service was poor. The manager of hotel confronted me as I was waiting for a friend, asking what buisness I had at the hotel. Gave me impression they have serious problems at hotel. This was a last minute booking and I paid the price for bad planning on my part.

Nice hotel
The hotel is located about 15 blocks from the main tourist areas. WIFI is easily assessible in the rooms. The breakfast was average. No snacks or beverages are in the mini bar however there are many locations close to the hotel to purchase these items. The oversized rooms are comfortable and the private balcony offers an opportunity to enjoy the outside without leaving the hotel. The cleaning staff was very accomodating and late check out was no problem.

Good hotel for the money

My review of Best Western Monumental Hotel & Spa
The Best Western Monumental Hotel & Spa was a very good choice. I moved to this hotel form a previous one I was staying at in the Recoleta neighborhood of Buenos Aires because I wanted to experience another neighborhood. The Best Western is located in the Microcentro. It is about 12 blocks form 9 de Julio Avenue which is the largest avenue in the world. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Rooms are of a good size and the vanity area is separate from the bathroom. The hotel personnel are very helpful and go out of their way to make your stay a comfortable one. Make sure you ask them to get you a car to go to the airport. It will be cheaper and more comfortable that a regular taxi.

Trattoria Prosciutto, half a block away from the hotel. They serve excellent homemade pasta and the restaurant has a very nice atmosphere.
