Hotel is a little bit far from the main street, but has a good view from the lake. Alse, from 8 to 12PM it has a free transportation service from and to the main street. It is not a fancy hotel, but is really confortable

Excellent!

First of all, the receptionist Georgina is great! She always has a smile on her face and is always willing to help with anything guests need. The food at the restaurant is perfect! The chef is a very nice young man who prepare delicious stuff. The room was very clean and comfortable, shower and hot and also good bathtub. I would totally recommend this place!

Fabulous resort in El Calafate

The large, comfortable room with a deck and a view of Lago Argentina was amazing. The hotel supplied two bottles of water and the bathroom was equipped with all the amenities. The staff provided excellent service in multiple languages in setting up tours of the glaciers and other sites, and tour busses picked us up at the hotel. The breakfast, served from 6 am on was more like a champagne brunch - I took a picture of all the delicious treats, including champagne, freshly squeezed orange juice, scrambled eggs and several kinds of fresh bread, cakes etc. Gourmet, several course dinners were available for an extra charge. The young chef was probably the best in El Calafate! There was live music on the weekend evenings. It is a delightful place.

Great Stay

We got a good deal on this hotel and it was a great value for what we paid! They even upgraded us to a lake view room for our last night. The chef was fantastic and we really enjoyed the meal we ate at La Canterra. It was a bit of a hike up the hill, but not really a big deal.

Beautiful hotel with great dinner

Enjoyed our stay so much- only complaints were the plug in our bathtub didn't work and they didn't seem to have one that did, nd the internet does not stretch to the rooms. The young chef is fantastic and puts on amazing dinners at unbeatable prices - best food in Calafate for sure.

Cute Rustic looking hotel

Overall it was a great place to stay at Calafate though our room was way too hot and people down the hall were complaining that it was too cold in their room. The Internet was also very sporadic at times from our room that was closest to the lobby where reception was good. The rooms were big and the view is pretty, spring for the lake view. The food is amazing, do have dinner at the hotel. The chef books one one couple every 1/2 hour andmakes everything fresh. One of the best meals in the area. The free breakfast was great though leaned heavy on cakes.

Check out Librobar on the second floor near the center of town. Best place to have a drink in the city.
