unpretentious, friendly, good price
The hotel is located in a quiet part of town just a 10-minute walk from the city center. It's a no-frills kind of place, but clean, well-run, and inexpensive: the perfect kind of 3-star experience. The employees speak enough English to help out, and did whatever was required to make the stay pleasant. The breakfast is nice, though there is no proper restaurant. Wireless internet is free.

Short drive from hotel
Restaurant 1884, about 20 minutes outside of town, features Patagonian food and is truly elegant. Plan to have a drink in the garden before you sit down to eat.

Mendoza is amazing and the hotel
Mendoza is amazing and the hotel has a good crew, which reflects the good atmosphere of the city and citzens. If a Havve the opportunity to return (and I'll try to do so) cerntaily I'll spend my days this hotel.
