Great central location!
This is a great little hotel in the heart of the central business district (Microcentro). The entire staff is very friendly and efficient, and the people at the front desk speak fluent English. My room was clean and comfortable, and came equipped with a refrigerator and a microwave oven. The windows open, so you can get fresh air, but there aren't any screens. If you leave them open too long the mosquitos will eventually find you! There's a great continental breakfast every morning in the breakfast room with coffee, juice, and assorted pastries. The hotel doesn't have its own restaurant, but there are lots of places to eat lunch and dinner in the area and cabs are readily available if you want to try another neighborhood.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
Restaurants don't start filling up until around 9:00 pm, and people like to take their time enjoying dinner, so the service may be slower than you're used to. For regional specialties, I recommend Cumana in the Recoleta neighborhood -- great atmosphere! Also, if you like wine, I thought the Trapiche Malbec and the Etchart Cafayate Torrontes were excellent!
