Best thing about the hotel is
Best thing about the hotel is the location. Palermo is in my opinion one of the best neighbourhoods in BA - lots of parks, lots of very cool restaurants and nice people. The hotel is within easy walking distance of an abundance of great restaurants including those at the nearby Plazza's. Also easy to get to the Subte station which means exploring the city is very easy. Hotel was nice - our room was beautiful but bathroom was small and in general, there was very little storage space. It was still really nice though, a nice balcony and nice rooftop area meant time spent at the hotel was still enjoyable. Staff are fairly relaxed, they seemed quite helpful to those who asked for it. Breakfast probably brings ratings down - it was very simple and repetitive and for the money - would have liked something hot (eggs etc). They could also do a better job of making sure things were well stocked - especially on weekends. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Greeat location and people, a bit noisy
Everyone at the hotel bends over backwards to take care of you and address your interests. The neighborhood is residential and you get a great feeling for the ways of the city and its people. It is blocks away from everything from fruit stands to supermarkets, good restaurants, stores and the local metro (subte)to move beyond the walkable attractions and reach out to the rest of the city. Inexpensive cabs readily available too. A ride to downtown is less than US$10.

Great location
Great location. Right in Palermo Soho, so easy walking to many restaurants and bars. However, this makes it difficult to get to other tourist attractions (trade-off). Rooms are small and exactly as seen on the website. The staff were terrific, best part of this hotel. They always had great suggestions and arranged cabs, soccer tickets etc.

The biggest bed I have ever seen.
Although there were several good restaurants in the area - there was nothing else in that area and the Police's continuous walking patrol of the street actually made me wonder "why" and if the street was in a bad part of the city. Our flight home was late night 11:20 p.m. and when I asked for late checkout (after a 4 night stay) I was told that check out was noon and only if they had vacancy could it be extended past noon and then only till 6:00 p.m. and for a charge of 50% of the nightly rate. They were not able to do any of the normal small amount of money exchange that you expect from a hotel. They sent me on a 8 block walk to a bank where I took a number and after a 1 1/2 hour wait I was able to get change. The hotel staff was great - spoke English and were helpful. Breakfast only average and room very good. The bed was very good and something larger that a King by at least 1/4. We spent 4 days after our cruise here and 5 days before our cruise at another hotel (725 Continental near the obelisk .) The 725 was much nicer and only $15 per night more expensive. Better breakfast with longer serving hours -- better part of the city -- Very close to City tour bus headquarters and right beside Florida street - a really wonderful walking street with bargain shops and street stalls that spread their goods on the street. They were very accommodating in exchanging dollars to Pesos.

Great place, great value!
Beautiful room, large with comfortable bed, friendly and helpful service, employees speak English and Spanish. Great bathroom with adequate sized shower and hot water! Quiet neighborhood, not a long walk from a town square with restaurants and night life. Approx 7 block walk to subte (their subway). Only complaint, no separation of floors with smoking/nonsmoking rooms, got a nonsmoking room that smelled of cigarettes. Would DEFINITELY recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Buenos Aires, extremely affordable for the luxury it offers. Not a bad complimentary morning breakfast, either.

Great hotel for under $100
Very nice and modern hotel! Great breakfast included in the price. Location is super for access to the Metro (Subte) and walking to restaurants. My recommendation, get a room in a high floor, there is a school near by, I could hear sound of children but it didn't bother me that much. For under 100, this is a great hotel, i would go elsewhere for over 100
