Amazing!

I was really happy we selected this hotel. It was extremely clean, very well located, and the staff were helpful, courteous, and very nice. The breakfast was the best part of the hotel. Great selection of pastries which were all fantastic. Freshly squeezed orange juice and very good tasting coffee. Couldn't have asked for more!

Load up on the breakfast at the hotel, that way you only have to do another big meal. Prices have skyrocketed in BA since last year.

happy stay

We stayed at this hotel during 4 nights. The welcome was good, lobby nice, small elevators and smaller than expected rooms. As you may expect in a city hotel. Breakfast is excellent (much better than just American breakfast) and overall a good experience for all 6 of us.

Money-saving tip: In Hotel

NEVER stop a cab along the road in Buenos Aires like you would any place else. We learned the hard way to make arrangements in our hotel beforehand. That way the cost of transport was reasonable.

A great find in Retiro

The staff is extremely helpful and many spoke English. Location is good, walking distance from metro station, other needed busninesses and Florida Street. The neighborhood is fantastic - full of great restaurants, boutiques, shops and other hotels. The daily buffet breakfast is fresh with excellent variety. I recommend this hotel and will stay there again.

Great location

TheEl Conquistador was in an excellent location. It is modern, with excellent staff and near many good restaurants and shops. The breakfast was quite good, and served in a lovely rooftop environment. The staff was very helpful in suggesting tango shows and tours and would not take a gratuity. The internet was available and free of charge.

The widest street in the world is two blocks away and it is fun to see if you can cross it in one light's time. Chacra is a good restaurant in the neighborhood for Argentine beef.

Coozie

Desk Staff was great, and the lobby and bar were very nicely decorated. The room was small yet comfortable and very clean. It did howeve need some maintance as there was a place where the wall paper was peeling up from water damage and mold growth. The free breakfast was from 7-11am and that was full breakfast very nice. The restaurant was on the 10th Floor and had a view of the city. Their staff again was very friendly. Overall our experience was very good.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

Shopping Strip with lots of local venders selling leather goods and furs (shoes, jackets, purses, and more. An indoor mall with really nice stores and food court. Within a short driving distance about $12 USD was the Puerto Maduro Casino Boats. Very Nice.... and you could play in USD or Peso exchange rate was 3/1USD.
