CasaSur Art Hotel

Great location in Recoleta about two blocks from cemetery. Very professional, friendly, and helpful staff. We stayed in a Superior room which had a great patio that was rather large. We stayed in this hotel and another in Palermo Soho. Because of dining and shopping in Palermo, we'd spend more time in Palermo than Recoleta if we went back. But this is the hotel we'd go back to in Recoleta.

The room was comfortable, the staff was knowledgeable and always willing to help, and the location can't be beat. The only negative is that the walls seemed a bit thin and as such we could hear some noise from adjoining rooms. Also the building next door was having some type of construction during our stay, but that's not CasaSur's fault.

Recoleta being the most reputable neighborhood in the city is absolutely charming and not second to the Upper East Side of NYC, and CasaSur Art Hotel does such a good job to complete the rest of your expectations. The hotel offers complementary rides to various touristic neighborhoods on the weekends(ie; San Telmo, La Boca, etc..) You also receive a complementary "welcome drink at the bar"

Incredibly unaccomodating front desk staff. The restaurant staff and doormen were curtious and friendly, but unfortunately this did not extend to the concierge. For a small luxury hotel, I expected top quality service and, unfortunately, this was missing. The pool and gym are also incredibly small -the gym simply has a treadmill, bike and freeweights. The bathroom outside of the gym is unbelievably dirty. We stayed at a less expensive hotel before arriving at Casasur and found their accomodations and staff to be top rate. Look elsewhere!

We stayed at this hotel while doing business in BA. It has an excellent location, safe, convenient, and close to good shopping and restaurants within a few blocks. The staff was exceptional, and we really grew attached to them! The hotel is very clean and beautiful. Because we stayed through Saturday, we took advantage of their complimentary city tour. It was fantastic! The tour guide was first-rate, and the tour was very thorough. We had a great time and learned a lot about the city. The morning buffet breakfast is the best we've ever had...though they don't offer much, they don't need to. They have good quality choices, delicious coffee, very good eggs, and fresh-squeezed juice! We enjoyed it. We had only a couple of disappointments. Probably our biggest issue is that the room was small. We both had laptops, but only one of us could really set up. The bath is also quite small. The room design, while it has initial impact, actually, is not very functional. You have to close the bathroom door to use the toilet, and the bathroom counter is extremely low, so you really have to bend over to use the sink. Overall, the guestroom was not a place to hang out for a long time. Luckily, we didn't need to! One last thing, though we noticed this at other restaurants in the city, was that the hotel bar was out of most offerings. They gave us a coupon for a free drink our first night, but come to find out, it only really applied to beer and wine. We didn't want beer or wine, so we ordered cocktails, only to find out that actually, they were out of rum and vodka. We then ordered whisky, and they only had enough for two drinks. When we came back the next few nights, they never replenished any of these liquors, to the extent that our server, on our last night, actually joked with my husband by offering him a rum drink...and then said, "Just kidding!" (he was very cute about it) We never could figure out why they didn't replace the items they were out of. Overall, we give this hotel a very good rating.

Clean modern stylish zen-style rooms. Top-notch friendly service staff, as good as any top-end hotel. Good neighborhood location.
