Bel Air

This is a nice hotel, beautiful building and good service. The only complain is about internet, they don't have free internet, if you want it you have to pay $10 by day. I think the room price they charge must cover internet use.

Bel Air is good enough

I am glad I stayed at the Bel Aire. The location is good and the people at the front desk spoke English and were helpful. Breakfast was appreciated and there are many great restaurants nearby.

Great location, a little expensive

Great hotel, nice big rooms, huge bathroom, very clean, there's a gym and 2 new computers (sometimes you have to wait a little while to use one, but usually one's open), the staff is very nice, and the location is great (in Recoleta, right off a darling park, just one block from a major thoroughfare, Santa Fe, where you can take the 152 bus pretty much anywhere in the city). You can definitely find cheaper hotels in Buenos Aires, but if money isn't a huge concern, then I certainly recommend Bel Air.

La Ventana tango show (you can do the dinner package or just the show, which includes a bottle of wine, empanadas and a dessert)- Hotel Bel Air can give you the brochure and you can book through them or online.

Buenos Aires

The Bel Air hotel in Buenos Aires was very nice. The beds were extremely comfortable with fluffy down comforters and great pillows. It was very quiet, which was much appreciated after several hotels in other cities that had loud street noise at all hours of the night. The room was quite small, but that was fine because it was comfortable. We were able to walk to most of the places we wanted to see, and took the subway to the others. We had to pay for internet, and they didn't even have wifi in the lobby.

Very good hotel/ location

The room, hotel staff, location were all excellent. The included breakfast was very good. We also found the hotel staff very helpful. The hotel's location was in a very safe area with easy access to the Retiro, Recoleta and Florida Street for shopping.

Quaint hotel in Recoleta

Clean, a little shopworn but they are painting the entrance. Cafeteria breakfast is ok not great. Does get crowded as morning progresses. Forget about having other meals there the neighborhood has plenty of great offerings. Staff is competent, sometimes a little stand offish. Internet is for pay and is really slow and balky at times to the point of mucho frustration.
